这题答案ADI

问题有2个。其一，我第三空选了H。想请问I是怎么的出来的？感觉I可以从restricted himself to citations available...里得出。是not thorough和restrict一致。可是我觉得accessible也可以从restrict得来啊。restrict himself所以他也就不accessible了吧？

其二，文章第一句话那个put together....怎么理解？是把哪几样东西put together了？deft volume和playful exuberance还是包括academic criticism？

天哪，看不懂你在说什么…
第三空就是根据后半句的he restricted himself而来；后半句对此空是解释说明作用，注意那个分号。我建议你先查一下accessible和thorough的英文释义。要是not accessible试问图书馆里的资源他难道没用吗？
第一空：这几个词组不是并列关系。我个人理解：he has put together a deft volume..., (in which) his playful exuberance...
academic criticism是说的书的内容。大概就是写了一本书，书是关于什么的。

多谢多谢！恩，我觉得put together a deft volume后面省略in which做定语从句这么理解是可以的！但第三空accessible做 capable of being understood理解不可以吗？批评家将他自己束缚在他个人图书馆的引用之中，也就是别人不好来理解他了。第三空选I我能理解，就是不知道为什么H就要被排除。

前面明显已经表扬了他这本书写得好，有exuberance over jargon，后面再说不好理解不是自相矛盾嘛～
