想读coursework-exam型，所以感觉在SOP里面提教授提研究好像没什么用呀？
但是看有的学校SOP的要求中，有提到写“为什么选择本校”里面最好提下感兴趣的faculty，比如：
UCD的要求“Please highlight youracademic preparation and motivation; interests, specializations and careergoals; and fit for pursuing graduate study at UC Davis....Fitmay include how your preparation, experiences, and interests match the specific resources and characteristics of your graduate program at UC Davis. Please identify specific faculty within your desired graduate program with whom you would like to work and how their interests match your own.”
UCB的要求
“The Statement of Purpose should reflect your reasoning forapplying for the specific degree and the specific CEE Program. For instance,what you are interested in researching within the CEE Program (and any facultyyou would like to work with if applicable), and list any previous experiencethat qualifies you for acceptance.”
