The Shih Laboratory of Applied Electromagnetics at the University of Idaho, USA, is looking for talented and hard-working Ph.D. students in the areas of RF circuits, antennas, and machine learning applications in these two areas. We are particularly interested in independent and self-motivated individuals who work well both individually and as part of a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborate in research on RF circuit design, antenna design, and machine learning applications in these areas.
2. Influence the progress of relevant research communities by producing high-quality publications.
3. Collaborate and increase productivity on projects as a contributing team member.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience in at least one of the following areas: RF circuit design, antenna design, and machine learning applications in RF circuit or antenna design.
2. Experience in collaborating within a team to solve problems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Publications in prestigious journals on the topics of RF circuits, antennas, and/or machine learning applications in these areas.
2. Experience in communicating research to public audiences and peers.
