After my final exams (12/19), I should have some time free for myself. I am willing to use that time to correct people's personal statements. So if you don't need to hand in your PS until after Christmas, you can send a copy to me to have it corrected.
Please note:
1. The main things I can help you with are grammar and choice of words.
2. I can give very general suggestions about content, but I am not responsible for writing any original text for you.
3. While you can tell me the meaning of a certain sentence in Chinese, I will not to translate an entire PS from Chinese to English.
4. Please limit your PS to about 600 words MAXIMUM.
5. This volunteer service is ONLY available to the continually active participants of this board. I reserve the right to decline submissions from those who I feel are taking unfair advantage of my goodwill. If I receive more statements than I can handle, I will have to cut off those who emailed me late.
6. Although I am very confident in my writing abilities, I don't claim to be perfect.
7. One PS per person, please. If you don't need your PS corrected, I can correct one recommendation letter for you instead.
