昨晚把yahoo邮箱打开着看Prison Break，土豆网磕磕碰碰看得很不顺利，不过yahoo邮箱却意外地收到来自Brandeis的消息。这是department的小米发来的邀请，说是3月7日在Brandeis有个为accepted graduate students而设的Open House。当时看得十分puzzled，那到底是semi-final还是什么呢？后来琢磨来琢磨去，那个accepted graduate students很明显嘛。带着这个疑问去睡觉了，想着第二天上寄托再问问看。没想到，早上打开邮箱，就看到director发来的邮件了。很开心了，第一个offer啊，虽然还不知道有多少奖学金。邮件里就只写了学费全免，其他的还得等正式的letter of offer。

Dear ~~

I am delighted to inform you that the Department of Anthropology at
Brandeis has recommended to the Dean of Arts and Sciences that you be
admitted to the doctoral program in Anthropology, to matriculate in Fall
2008.  The entire department was extremely impressed by your file and
believe you and Brandeis would be an excellent "fit."

You will receive an official letter of offer from the Dean of Arts  and
Sciences shortly, I believe.  The official offer of admission from the
graduate school includes a full tuition remission.

补充个人背景：
大龄青年一个，本科在上海读英语语言文学；第一个MA在上海读，英语语言学；第二个MA在香港读，Gender Studies；两个MA之间在出版社做编辑；V：700，Q：650，AW：5.5；T：663。

对啊，我上学期上过人类学的课，这学期也还在旁听，知道这学科是不容易的
