攒人品,分享下口语备考笔记的要点。可能有点零散。请多指教!录了一套TPO3的题,没有打稿所以个别语句可能有错。上传不了所以请糖版主代发了。在此谢过!

各题目笔记:


Task 1



  • ·不会出错的格式是:Topic sentence (8-10'')+personal reasons (#1, #2)
                             for example, you know这种造成“出戏感”的东西可以有,但尽量不要频繁出现,就好像说中文总是蹦出“那个啥”并不会让人觉得这个老外说中文很地道,反而会给人留下口头表达不足的印象一样
          
  • ·如果觉得没话说怎么办?展开叙述方式:1.Before/After形式。适用于讲某人/事物(对我的)重要性。
                                                           2.Personal elements。 一个很好用的句型:it gives me/sb. a sense of ***

robin的帖子里说12题可只说一点,我个人则喜欢说两点,感觉会更有安全感一些,对于一些客观题理由也能说得更充分。毕竟考官要听的是你说理由,不是讲故事。两点论能更好地保证有效信息量
另外,个别12题的题目设置可能要求说不止一点,比如曾看到版友问起,我举的例子是:

advantages and disadvantages of students watching tv in dorms
(题目问优势劣势时的解决方法)


i think allowing students to watch tv in dorms has both advantages and disadvantages. for the good part, watching tv is a beneficial way for students to get information on global news and current events. it helps to entertain students in their free times too since you can watch shows and movies. however, there are negative parts to it too, like it will be too distracting to have a tv around when you need to study for an exam or work on your homework. my roommate had to move her tv out because she said she spend too much time on it that it bothers her she can't finish her work every night.

思维模式和一点论相同,观点+展开解释+例子或细节,只是例子需要浓缩精练。无论是一点论还是两点论,都需要能支撑你观点的例子和细节。



                                                                              
Task 2



·如果觉得没话说怎么办?展开思路:原因1,原因2;好处1,好处2;好处1,坏处1;别人1,自己1;同意1,发展1。


task12 除非是题目中有要求(例:talk about the advantage and disadvantage题目就规定了要说两方面),说一点两点都能够拿高分,内容充实即可; 给出论点后用详实的论据,例子,细节来充实。make it personal make it real

总结得很好啊,确实是我常用的套路。我自己一直都按这样说,也是最近点评才听到了很多筒子喜欢用第二种模式。觉得第一种模式如果能用好从句,把信息集合在后面讲理由处的话,确实会更加连贯并且节约时间。谢谢你的总结!

被吓到啦!筒子你好认真!

如果说方法么,这种程度的句型词汇,谁都能写得出来,但是有这个语言材料但是说不出来,我觉得一是答题时间紧,不打稿很不容易用上复杂句型;二是没有用英语思考说话的习惯,自然不熟练。建议平时在看到口语题甚至作文题的时候,可以练练”腹诽“,也就是在心里面把想写下来的东西整理一下默念出来,速度慢也不要紧,关键是要在脑子里想成能默念的形式,而不是写下来的形式。这样练多了就能把反应速度加快。LZ以前神经病的时候会一边走路一边自言自语。

我很想把你的听写放在首页,但是因为帖子后来被版主编辑回复隐藏后我权限不够就没法再编辑了。。。话说一看文本发现我说话里的错误还不少唉。需要我帮你校正一下吗?

不是要写下来也不是背,是直接把想写的东西说出来。比背要高效,因为你要一边在脑子里组织语言一边说,不给你把想好的句型转到纸上的机会,要把想好的句型直接说出来。这也是口语考试的要求。
”腹诽”这词只是取了个literally的意思乱用了。

下面黄字是改你的听写,红字是我说的有错的地方。

The first most important characteristic, I think, that the parents should have is to be loving and kind.
For me, the biggest source of kindness in my life has always been my mother.
As a doctor, she is just kinda, the kind of person who is loving and care.
And when I was little, I was constantly ill, but she was always there for me.
The second characteristic of a good parent, I think, is to be respectful for your children.
Just like what my dad has always been,
As a professor, my dad has always supported my decisions on whether it's my study or my life.
And he never interfers with them.
Instead, he always showed supportive.
And I think, these are the two most important characteristics that make a good parent.

There are different approaches that students take towards finishing an assignment.
And for me, I personally prefer to do work individually instead of in a group.
Because, firstly, I am a person who gets very easily distracted.
And instead of having a whole group of people's ideas all around me,
I would rather just stick to my own ideas and thoughts about the project,
which is more challenging too, I think.
The second reason is that I like to have a complete control over what I do.
And working on a project independently allows me to have more freedom and decisions over how the work should be done.
So, I think, these are the reasons why I prefer to work individually instead of in a group.      

The university dining service is going to eliminate the hot breakfast and provide cold breakfast instead.
However, the woman obviously did not think that is a very good idea.
For the first reason, um, well, the university believes that cold breakfast is healthier than before.
The woman thinks that this is not even an issue.
Because on a cold morning, a warm omelet would obviously be healthier for you than, say, cold yogurt .
The second reason is that although the university asserts that they're helping their students to save money,
they are actually making things worse.
Because when students cannot get what they want,
they will go off campus and pay off-campus prices for hot breakfast,
which will eventually add up to a pretty considerable economic burden for them.
So these are the two reasons why the woman did not support the university's new breakfast plan in particular.         

Cognitive dissonance is the mental discomfort that people come across
when they have a contradiction between their action and their belief.
To illustrate this concept, the professor used his own life experience as an example,
which is when he was in high school,
he was seriously addicted to video games,
which resulted in his failure in chemistry. 两个which从句不能连用
He was completely torn and feeling conflicted 我发音错了,重音应该在第二个音节
Um, that's when the cognitive dissonance came in.
But then he came up with a solution of changing his perspectives.
Because he was only doing poor at chemistry, which really doesn't matter.
Because he didn't wanna grow up to be a chemist. 两个because从句不能连用, 改用since
So he changed his understanding of what it means to be doing well at school,
which is only to do well at courses that matters to his future.
He reinterpreted his situation and eventually eliminated the conflict,
which is also what people do, when confronting cognitive dissonance.      

The woman is in an awkward situation,
where she won an award in creative writing and was invited to the awards ceremony.
But she has a biology exam scheduled for the same time.
She has two options.
The first one is to write a five page paper instead of taking the exam.
But she was afraid that it might it took too much time,
since she has so many other things to do.
The second option is that she could have some one else receive the award for her.
But then it'll be a sorry for her parents who will be looking forward to see her at the ceremony.
I would recommend her to go with the first plan.
It's just a little extra work and time to write the paper.
But it's.. it's definitely gonna worth it to make it to the ceremony.
Because if it's me,
I will try to do everything to make my parents proud and not to disappoint them.
So I really think that she should try to write the paper and go to the ceremony.   

There are various strategies for an advertisement to appeal to its audience.
The first one that the professor talked about is repetition,
which means through repeating a slogan over and over again until people start to accept it or see it in a positive light.
For example, the professor talked about this advertisement for this small car.
in which the narrator keeps saying plenty of room for friends, XXX for family, XXX for everyone.
And afterit wasrepeated for a good amount,
people would actually start to be convinced that it is a very spacious car,
although it didn't look like it.
The second strategy that the professor talked about is to use celebrities in advertisement.
Because people would think that celebrities are more convincing and trustworthy.
For example, if an advertisement features a popular car racer, saying that 'I like my car to be fast',
people 这里有个would,吞音太厉害了actually believe that this car has a name for the speed.

口语是质变到量变,就算觉得自己每次都没有提高,也不是无用功。针对考试当然还是用最贴近考试的材料最好。

练习造句是对的,我虽然有笔记习惯,但其实到后来很多时候笔记用不上,听懂了理解了自然能复述出来。

听力一定要以听懂为主笔记为辅,笔记不要干扰你的理解。我觉得你说的忘了用词卡住了,归根结底是听力没有完全理解。

笔记要注意速度,多用符号,中文,辅音字母缩写可以尽量多记下点东西。
