作文题目很变态,说什么很多环境学家都想知道大陆型国家和小岛型国家环境污染之间的关系.你认为你们国家的政府部门应该采取怎样的政策来使环境得到改善.1小时15分钟,要求400字以上,有一个很搞笑的教授一直强调,要more than, no less than 400 w.我写的不少.
总体来说,Prof Ha Yajun非常非常之nice,而且是一个很有风度的人.
见面他就伸出手来,我以为是让我坐的,谁知手没回去...呵呵,握手.
问题很常规.整个过程大概15分钟左右,非常准时,不多不少.
P: Let me take your file...wow. you looks like a girl.haha
M: What?
P: u see. you have so long hair.
M: o...it's not my hair.
P: yea, i know, it is because of copy.(复印的原因,我头像周围看起来有长长的头发,哈哈)
M: quite interesting.
P: u r from TJU?
M: no. i am from XMU. my hometown is TJ.
P: as i know, the students from xm choose shanghai to do the interview.why do u go so far?
M: my hometown is TJ. we need to take then intern in this semester. initially, i wanted to do the intern in my hometown. then i can do the interview conveniently. but our school forced me go back to do the intern in xm.
P: ok. would u like to tell me about u. any detail which can let me know u well.
M: ok. my name is CZC. i was born in TJ 1986. I am studying in XMU now. my major is physics, especially semiconductor. i would like to pursue my phd drgree in nus.
P: well...u come here from ur school?
M: yea.
P: will u go back home for some days?
M: yea...but i can stay in my home for only one day, then go back school.
P: when will u go back home?
M: after the interview.
P: ok. your major is semiconductor.why would u like to change it into engineering.
M: 我没怎么回答就被教授跳过去了...
P: u said your major is semiconductor. as i know, semiconductor has two divisions. one is ...(没听出来是什么), the other one is fabracating. which one do u like?
M: i like fabracating. I have some research experience in semiconductor fabracating.
P: exactly?
M: the topic is high-power GaN-based LED research...
P: what is your meaning about high hower?
M: it means stronger light.
P: it should not be called high power. power means the electrical or some other kind of supplication. it is ....(又没听出来...反正是高效率)
M: o...sorry. i got it. thanks.
P: it's ok. have u applied some other univs than nus?
M: yea. i have applied ntu. and they have give me the offer. but i refused it as i want to go to nus.
P: any univs in the us?
M: no.
P: why not?
M: i dont like to travel that far. as my parents are getting older and older, maybe sometimes they need my help.
P: so it is easier for you to back home?
M: yea.
P: when did u apply ntu? nov?
M: no. last dec.
P: then when did they give u the offer?
M: this jan.
P: wow....u know, we cannot give u the offer so quickly if any. the outcome will be in the end of may or the beginning of jun. but you all have been included in the shortlist.
M: what is the meaning of "shortlist"?(我反问教授了...)
P: it means you are hopeful. alot of applicants applied. we choose the top ones. it is shortlist. u r included in the shortlist. the rest of the application depends on your interview and the essay. your interview performance is quite good. there shoud be no problem if your essay makes no mistake. any other questions?(我以为面完了呢)
M: no more question.thx.
P: what would u like to do after the graduation?
M: i want to be a researcher.
P: where would u like to stay? the univ or some institude?
M: university. it is a peaceful place. i can stay with the young men when i am old.
P: u know, i get my master in nus 11  years ago. at that time, i am in your place. maybe 11 years latter...
M: i will in your place.haha
P: haha.who give u the important influence about going abroad?
M: my dad.
P: ur parents?
M: no. exactly my dad. my farther. one of his collegue has a son. he is now studying in japan.
P: your parents are proud of u?
M: yea, of course.
P: how about your parents?
M: they r retired.
P: ok. the interview is over. good luck!
M: thanks. see u.
