十分感谢，仔细看了评论，感觉非常精彩。绝大部分都能认同，但有一点目前尚有疑问，也再向你请教。
这个问题就是所谓“他因”在argument题目中的作用。有两点跟搂主可能观点不相同：
1、argument的目的并不是驳倒原来的论证，而是一种理解基础上的反驳，就是说承认其某种合理性同时找出谬误所在并提出改进的建议。这一点从ets范文里面可以看出来。在ets官方文件里有一句话：“you are not being to discuss whether the statements in the argument are true or accurate, instead, you are being asked whether conclusions and inferences are validly drawn from the statements.”我对这句话的理解目前还比较模糊，不知道是不是上面所说的意思。这条链接最后一段似乎强调要将原文驳倒：https://bbs.gter.net/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=942037&page=1#pid1772576369

2、正因为argument的目的不是完全驳倒原有文章，用其他可能性来论证的方法似乎便有了可能。当然，正像https://bbs.gter.net/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=927873&highlight 贴中所说的那样，可能性不能漫无边际。而且里面所举例子“人们很少相信批评家”确实比“批评家不可信”更insightful和有说服力，因为它跳出了argument本身的论证逻辑，有高度。但是，是不是所有的题目都可以这样跳出来？我觉得还是很有疑问的。在ets的说明中，有这么一段“For instance, in one topic an elementary school pribcipal might conclude that the new playground equpment has improved student attendance because absentee rates have declined since it was installed. You will not need to see that the principal has committed the post hoc, ergo propter hoc fallacy;you will simply need to see that there are other possible explanations for the improved attendance, to offer some common-sense examples, and perhaps to suggest what would be necessary to attendance, to offer some common-sense examples, and perhaps to suggest what would be necessary to verify the conclusion. For instance, absentee rates might have decreased because the climate was mild.
