i got of rej from U of mich long long time ago..

mu is university of Missouri

that is what the stuff told me:
I was just told by the committee to deny several applicants, your name was on that list. I do not know why. We had over 100 applicants and we were not able to admit almost half because we had limited openings.

I am sorry for the bad news.

what??? how come...

this one should be your backup school, rite?

i thought you have a 3.7+ overall GPA and a GRE 1400+ ?

did you have the right professors to write you letter of recommendations? Are they very positive? how confident are you with your personal statement?

i am confidence with my personal statement..
But i am not sure about my recommended letter because two of my recommenders are not from math department...
plus i piss of one of my recommended letter because i asked her to write so many recommended letters...

I do not know what this kind of shit comes...
Today, i called FSU, the stuff told me that they received more than 200 applications...

it's probably too late to say this...but I feel like you could have at most one reference who is not from math department... you are applying for PHD after all...

anyway... you are a qualified candidate~ so maybe wait a little bit longer? I probably should not say this because I have never been in your shoes...

Well, i still have two references from math department... it only required three references though...

I still have my backup school, anyway...

I got an admission from XXX last year, but i did not enroll...

Come with strong this year, still many rejections
