More important, in order to distinguish among gifted athletes individual efforts is the determining factor. For example, Deng Li ping, an Olympic Champion in table tennis, spent all her childhood to practice table tennis while other same age children were playing games or watching television. Also, she left home alone at very young age to live with coach, while other children were enjoying companion with parents. It is such self-sacrifice that guarantee her achievements in the future. Therefore, to be a professional athlete, a person have to overcome various difficulties and keep assiduous working, which definitely deserve high payment.
Furthermore, not only professional athletes' individual efforts should be highly paid, but also their excellent performance should be gratified. As everybody knows, a wonderful match between two football teams will inspire people a lot. These athletes are capable of skillful passing, accurate clicking, which attract every present audience as well as people in front of television. Besides, professional athletes are challenging the limits of human people and break records again and again, which demonstrate a precious spirit of human beings. Considering all these irreplaceable performance, professional athletes are entitled with high salaries as well as social respects.
Additionally, it is universally popular that ordinary people incline to seek excitement, inspiration, and courage in professional athletes. All too often we observe that teenagers regard sports players as their idols, because their life stories teach them a lot about dreams, and their fascinating performances are vivid lessons of cooperation and competition. Take myself as example, every time I get tired and want to give up, I would watch the matches of Liu Xiang, through his achievements and struggle experience I would obtain confidence and fulfill with courage to carry on.

However, from my perspective, there are numerous irreplaceable advantages for students taking a part-time jobs comparing minor potential negative effects.
First of all, no one could deny the primary purpose for students entering university is to achieve a comprehensive promotion including academic performance and social ability. Thus, students definitely benefit a lot form the experience of part-time jobs. For example, they are provided chances to communicate with various types of people which hardly happen in a monotonous environment of campus. By this means, it is no doubt that students will expand horizons and form a clearer self-identity as a member in society, which leading to a mature understanding about themselves and society. To be specious, students are probably develop a significant sense of financial responsibility, because they can learn how difficult to make money during the part-time jobs. These benefits can hardly achieved in classrooms or libraries.
Furthermore, for an university student, taking a part-time job means an additional obligation besides arduous academic study in university.
