Many people have learned a foreign language in their own country; others have learned a foreign language in the country in which it is spoken. Which is better? Give the advantages of each and support your viewpoint.

Learning a foreign language in one’s own country or in the country the language is spoken has their own advantages and disadvantages respectively. To determine which is better for you relies on your own situation.
To begin with, learning a foreign language in one’s own country is more economical and avoids you certain adverse situations. Firstly, learning in domestic region can save you a lot of money which may spent on renting an apartment, higher enrollment fee, pricy diets and etc. Whereas,
you can of course free from this burden if you chose to learn in your own county by selecting a economic school, living in your own house , cooking yourself and so on. What’s more, going abroad means staying away from your beloved family , your close friends and the city you lived, which also means you have to put a pause to all the relationship you have created over time. You many suffer from nostalgia ,homesickness, and even loneness. Finally, the approach of instruction in your own country may
be even more effective for your situation compared the teaching in a foreign country. As there may be a quite long history of teaching that language, people might have found the optimal approach to instruct the learners with your nationality.

On the other hand, learning in the country the language is spoken will
be more challenging. As first, being in an environment with all native speaker will foster you learning rapidly. With no doubt, The accent and grammar people are using are more native and accurate, and simply you got more chance to practice as all the conversations are conducted in the language you want to learn. Secondly, flanked with the native culture, one is supposed to grasp the language better as the corresponding culture is quite instrumental in helping one understanding the language. As part of culture, the way people talk, the expression and gesture people use during conversation are all reflections of their culture. One may be puzzled while talking if he has no idea of the culture. Like English prefer talking about the weather in a casual conversation, American prefer sports, while Chinese prefer meal. The differences are stemmed from culture difference. Knowing them will sure make a difference.

In a nutshell, both the approaches tradeoff, to determine which is better individually, you have to find your own balance on it.
