Do advertisements promote things we do not need or products that may improve our lives?


Since mass media and information are growing in importance in the modern society, people pay more attention to the issue of whether advertisements improve our lives by promoting things and products which we do not need. Views on this issue vary from person to person. However, based on the following aspects would I assert, advertisements are important and necessary to every social member no matter whether they need products or not. We can hardly ignore the benefits of advertisements, which have greatly changed our lives from the following aspects.

First of all, generally speaking, advertisements help us get the latest and useful information about some new products which contain lots of new functions with some cute designs and services to customers, (改为are the major source from which people obtain the latest and useful information about some new products and services) and therefore transmit unique thoughts and ideas of different company culture. Let us take i-pod which produced by Apple Company as an example. It caught my eyes when I first saw it on the television. The advertisement of i-pod contains lots of colorful images and special functions which are attractive to its customers. And its useful and considerate functions such as mp3 and mapping suit改成 satisfy the teenagers' needs.再加一个例子比较好。。。 By advertisements, I know that when I get hurt, I can use Band-Aids to prevent infection and accelerate the healing of the wounds. By advertisement, men know that Gillette razors are a safer and more comfortable way of shaving. By advertisement, I know that I can use Rejoice shampoo to prevent dandruff. Therefore, advertisement is a good channel  let people know about new production based on developing technology.


Second, some advertisements contain lots of information which demonstrate tremendous kinds of moral values and principles needed in our society. Advertisements involve lots of celebrities’ pictures, stories, and sayings which teach us valued merits. Such as persistence and hardworking by showing that Balzac worked over 15 hours a day for a decade to write novels and Beethoven composed the No. 9 Symphony 3 years before his death. Children will be affected by precious metrits (merits) from these advertisements.

Admittely, (admittedly) some advertisements do show lots of products and services that we really do not need. Moreover, some people claim that advertisements are flooded with violent scenes sometimes. However, in my opinion, it is not the fault of advertisement because that whether you need to buy the products or not depend on your own decision and government also has responsibility to regular the market of advertisement. If that is the case, I don’t think advertisement will be a big problem to worried about.

To sum up, advertisements play an important role in our society because it tells us tremendous valued information and teaches us some precious principles. Advertisement is irreplaceable for our human beings somehow.

我觉得我最近开始变态了。
深切的体会。
哈哈。
一天不是为了得到什么结果而去准备托福，而是我觉得这个过程让我很享受。
这么执着的为着一个目标前进，每天的安排和计划，一项项的进行。
活得特别充实，并且深刻体会到这样付出下面的回报。
我很感动现在的自己。
不扯了。

今天的完成的情况实际上差强人意。
改完了作文，然后做了一套TPOQ1到4的口语录音。每个Q录了有15遍有多，居然这么多我都不知道，拼命说拼命说。加油加油！
我觉得Q1和Q2其实差不多了，但是这样的情况是在我注意力特别集中地时候才有的状态，下次得为自己弄点障碍才可以。我觉得注意力这才是关键。
Q3，Q4得准确把握时间，今天估计是有点超时的，虽然我录了几遍后来努力克制了，但是还是有问题。
Q4的细节需要说成什么程度才可以呢？明天问问组长。
记住问啊！！

好的，太困了，明天的计划明天再写。。加油加油！

今日总结。
昨天做的TPO，小组同学帮我评价受益匪浅。
Q1，开头精简点，每段中间注意停顿。
Q2，中间说得不大清晰卷舌厉害，有些地方人家听不清。。。
Q3，阅读为辅，不要占太多时间，听力为主，明确说出两个观点为好，并且讲求accuracy。
Q4，同Q3，听力观点说得太迟，应该好好安排时间。概括的例子要说，但是太细的例子不说也罢。

然后做完了TPO的一套精听。
好多听懂了，但是选择的时候问题读得不仔细。而且听力答案和听到内容应该成一一对应的关系。不要被选项给弄晕了，就不想看了。

作文该死的例子还没有背完！！！！！自己拖自己去斩了。。。不过也是背了4个。。。小有成果。。。
但是还有environment的啊！！！明天背不完抽死自己。。。
我讨厌作文讨厌作文。

今日计划。
8点55到9.30看完昨天找到资料。
9点40-10.30去公共空间，听力TPO。运用看的方法。
10.50-11。20背例子，最后的那一点点。
11点20-12点，阅读TPO

中午午休，吃饭，然后午觉。

1.30到2点30作文，开头结尾，还有如何铺开，背诵转折还有比较的句型。
2点30到4点，口语Q3,Q4，联系Delta上面的所有题，计时，并且总结解决好好同学昨天提出的问题。
4点10分到5点，TPO6口语录音加练习。记得交作业。

5点到6。30点开始复习综合作文，先背下模板，然后那一篇认真分析然后实战。
6点30到7点吃饭，能睡个20分钟就睡。

7点到15到7点半，读分类单词。
7点30到8点半，再听TPO听力，保证跟读和完全理解。
8点半到10点，看cost accounting，完成第三单元还有看看作业估计一下做的时间。

10。20-11点作文。
11点到12点分析185的题的思路还有例子论证。
总结在睡觉。

今日计划。
起晚了。囧。
10点-11点半开始背昨天总结的举例，对比，并列的句子，还有SY的作文框架，看看这些句子如何用到里面去。
11点半到11.50作一篇TPO阅读。分析错题。

中午午休吃饭。不准睡觉了。吃完了去把写作的分类给打印出来。

1.30点到2.30点，听力TPO半套，然后分析。
2点30开始到5，嘿嘿嘿嘿，Q4Q5Q6时间。
先做Q5，背了段子。记下点。然后练习。这题不要话太多时间。Q4Q6放到一块，主要研究一下什么方法适合我自己。练习delta。。
我就不信搞不定Q4Q6!
一切都有方法可循!
5.到6点再过一遍例子，保证名字不会有拼写错误。

吃饭，看big bang。。

7点半-9点开始。看综合作文讲义！！！必须看！！！
然后把模板背了，练习一个题。

9点出门跑步，然后听听力。
9点半回来练习一个题的独立写作。
然后看看cost accounting

早点睡觉！！！

哈哈~~今天又有新收获。。。哈哈哈哈。太高兴了。。。。
昨天一直纠结的口语第四题，今天有了新突破。
研究了下自己的笔记，原来自己在记得时候
首先，单词记得没有缩写。。
其次，无关细节也进来了，特别是还把介词啥啥的给记进来了。
再次，笔记没有任何的逻辑关系。乱七八糟。

再次感谢一下奶牛好人把Q4的ppt发给了我。太感谢了！！！
笔记不能那样记，记了会更让你不知道听力说了啥。。
首先，记主题。
其次，关键词，引出文章的词。
再者，他们之间的逻辑关系。不用介词，不用so等等屁而是用符号表达逻辑，速度大增。。。
最后PPT说出题点多在zoology，psychology，还有economy。。看了delta。。果然这样。。再次谢谢奶牛同学。。。

今天还有个收获就是写作。
写提纲多好啊。

把SY的提纲总结一下，然后再自己找出差不多的自己总结，然后再写出来啥例子适合。。

Since technology and education play an important role in our society, more and more people pay their attention on multitude reasons of learning in students’ development. Views on this issue vary from different person to person. As far as I concerned, marks really do is an effective reason in students' learning intention, but not the most important one.

To start with, I believe that interest is one of the most import motivations to encourage students to learn. Doing things that make people really interested will offer them greatest passion, and people are more likely to dedicate more time to it to make more contributions. Take my own experience as an example. I always have a burning ambition to be a psychotherapist because psychology is my favorite course. What’ more, more and more people, under such a heavy pressure at work, have been deeply depressed in our society. Thus the role of being a psychotherapist is getting more and more important. As a self motivated person, I always believe that I have this ability to make my dream come true because I am fond learning it. The self interest of psychology leads me to read tremendous books with greatest passion.

What's more, people may want to study because the social and family conditions. As we all know that lots of places in China now are still underdeveloped though it is really better than before. However, once students grasp the opportunity to access the higher education, they will delicate themselves in learning process. I can back up my point with a true story. Xiao Yun, one of my college roommates, came from an underprivileged family located in Gan Su, an underdeveloped inner province in Northwest of China. Both of her parents, cotton farmers, who had lost their land in the industrialization of China, had to work at various construction sites in the city. The salary of them was less than 1000 RMB per month, the equivalent of 120 US dollars. As a result, Xiao Yun knows that it is quite a precious opportunity for her to study in the college. She works extremely hard in order to changing her life based on her knowledge professions and making more money in the future.

Moreover, some people who want to become a particular famous person are more likely to study. For instance, a student was influenced to be the person like Marie Curies when she was a little child. This student may study very hard in order to achieve her goals because Marie Curies obtained her radium from 8 tons of pitchblende for 7 years. Marie Curies is a symbol which stands for hard working and persistence.

Admittedly, marks may motivate students to learn knowledge. However, low mark may lead children to suffer tremendous pressures if they think it is essential of studying. Marks are not important compared with reasons mentioned above.

To sum, lots of reasons may influence and encourage students to learn, nor only the marks but interests, conditions of family and famous person’ s motivation.

不知道怎么搞的，这两天情绪有点小低落。。
可能是因为学校的破事情好多，好多考试又没有这么多时间。。。
这2天的睡眠质量也不大行。。。

唉唉。。

anyway。。复习是要讲求效率的。。。
好好列计划。加油还有12天呢~~

2点半-4点半，背SY的讲义，还有结构。
4点到5点写作文然后修改。。
5点到5点半做一阅读。。加分析错题。。

吃晚饭。。
和WJ讨论做题的思路。

8点半到9点半,UNIT3找自己的归纳来看看。。cost accounting看书也写作业
9点半-11点口语练习Q4,Q5,Q6
做一套TPO口语一次性录音。。

12点前一定睡觉！！明天8点课~~~
放轻松，调整情绪，不要太紧张了。。。

加油加油，最近为了莎士比亚忙得焦头烂额。。。
好了。终于搞完了。
好的，还有5篇就背完了SY 的文章。哇咔咔。
计划计划。
明天7点35起床，然后收拾洗头吃饭8点开始，先读今天的Q5的标答，然后再读SY的作文例子加几片很猛的文章。。
10点上课。到12点。。
吃饭睡觉。。囧囧一直得上到晚上9点。。。
上完了就回寝室去公共空间，做tpo4的口语练习，必须一遍过+录音
做作业。法律。会计。还有些BC。。
明天果然是悲情的一天。。
anyway！加油加油！
