People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.


People who have the option to go to work force directly ,however,choose to attend college Normally ,they go to university to prepare for the career ,have a new experience and acquire more knowledge .
People who haven’t attended college usually have a limited range of
job positions to choose from ,however ,people attend university can acquire specific skills which allow them to find a satisfying job .For example ,people who never receive professional medical trainning can’t be a doctor ,but after graduate from medical school ,people will not only be competent in being a doctor ,but also can is well prepared for some related jobs ,such as radiologist ,druggist and so on.In addition to acquire specific skills ,people will be more competitive in the job application .Even if the two applicants have the same interview result ,the employer will think highly of the applicant who have the bachelor’s degree,because the degree will be accepted by the company as a proof of competence in the filed .
Also ,people attend universities to have some new experiences .They can make new friends who are different from people in their hometowns.They can make decisions on their own without compromising their parents .Most of all ,they can participate many campus activities which can develop their social skills .
What’s more ,they can further their education and acquire more knowledge .With the bachelor’s degree ,they are able to pursuit master programme overseas or they can take researches they are interested in .
