Newspapersand magazines are the best way of learning about a foreign country？

Human being keeps curiosity about the outside world they live during centuries.(这句我觉得用现在完成进行时比较好) With the development of the media,various approaches can help people to learn foreign countries. Some people indicate that newspapers and magazines are primary for knowing about foreign countries. In my view, publish（publication表示出版物） is an efficient way for us to recognize the world, but those（they） are no longer a best way since people have more choices than before.
Undoubtedly, newspapers and magazine have occupied the main position for people to acquire knowledge regarding foreign countries for a long time, especially in the beginning of the 20th century. On those days, limited by the technology, publication is the only way for people to know new events. However, in the modern society, towards some new media, there are some weaknesses for the publication. For one thing, publication conveys information only for literal or pictures, which are so monotonous for reader, because only these ways cannot depict the whole country. For instance, Germany is famous for its music. People who want to learn the culture of Germany must have interested in music of Germany, and they cannot enjoy music through the magazines. It is regret for a good learner.For another, it is passive for learners to acquire knowledge provided by the newspaper and magazine. As we known(know), the content of publication is decided by editor(editors) and comply(complied with 共用is) their interesting(interest) instead the reader(readers’). Maybe a reader want(wants) to know more about the history of Japan,however ,the magazine introduce(has introduced) something about the economy of the country. No one like(likes) any information they don't care, so the value of newspaper and magazine decrease(decreases).Nowadays, Internet has involved in our life,and it is a better way for people to learn about outside world. By stuffing(?) internet, people can know whatever they need as(from) different tracks. Clicking the mouse, we can gain everything we are interested in. Also, people can watch video and listeners to the sound through the Internet. For example, if I desire to the whole scene of American, I can visit the website regarding relative content. Even I can recognize(make交朋友吧) an American friend through the website of "Facebook",and talk with him/her. For the reason, maybe I could gain more than expect（expected是以前期望的吧）. In brief, thought（through） Internet, people can gain more they want about a foreign country.
Overall, I believe that everyone can find a suitable way for him/her to learn about a foreign country.
觉得语法错误稍微多了一点，但是文章很连贯。。嘿嘿，水平有限，请多多指教。。。
