Do you agree with the following statement? For future career success, is relate well to other people more important than studying hard at school?


      Many people want to have a successful career in the future,and there are a lot of ways getting a success.The two factors that relating well to other people and studying hard at school are indispensable to one's success,I don't think one of them is more important than another,so I don't agree with the statement that relating well to other people is more important than studying hard at school for future career success.
     To begin with,human beings are living in a society,we can't avoid contacting with people,so relating well to other people is necessary for a better future.We do not live alone which we have parents and many friends.Almost every day we have to communicate with them,so if we are not able to get along well with parents and friends,we would have a bad emotion which leads to a low efficiency in studying or working.Also relationship is a good way to improve happiness to a high level,and happiness is beneficial to the future career success because happiness can give people hopes and optimism which help people gain courage when facing the difficult situation.So the good relationship is the basic of achieving success.
     In addition,hardworking is another necessary factor for future career success.There is a well known saying that efforts are not always leading to success but if you don't work hard you would never gain success.There are many cases that some scientists through their studying hard at school to achieve success in finally.For example,Newton,the discoverer of three laws of mechanics and the law of universal gravitation,studied hard by reading books of wise predecessors and doing lots of experiments,and as a result he has become the one of the most great scientists in the world.He has a famous aphorism --"I see further than others because I stand on the shoulder of giants."Hence,It is a must to study hard for success.
    What's more,there are many different methods to achieve success in the future from  person to person.Some maybe think luck is also a important factor to get success except the two front factors mentioned.It is possible to some people  that they have no opportunity to show their potential because they could not meet the people who can see their talents or for other reasons.Moreover,genius is a significant way to the future career success.Everybody has his own talent and following his talent to do something he is interested in makes him easy to get success.
    In conclusion,both studying hard at school and relating well to other people are the indispensable factors for future career success.And the other elements such as luck and genius are also very important to achieve career success in the future.So,I can't say one is more important than another.

    In the lecture,the professor made several points about the links of the portrait to Jane Austen is not at all convincing.Contradict the writer's expectation that the teenage in the portrait is Jane Austen.
  First of all,there are almost 70 years after she was death in 1882 when her letters published.And the familty members who recognized it as a portrait of the author had actually never seen her by themselves.They couldn't be certain that whether the girl in the portrait is Austen or not.
  In the second,the subject is likely to be the author's relatives which could explain that the face in the portrait resembles the one in Cassandra's sketch.The extant family of Austen is very large and her many female cousins were teenages or had children who were teenages who can resemble Austen.Many aspects belived that the true subject of the protrait was a distant niece of Austen.
   Third,the portrait painter was identified as Ozias Humphrey just through its style,but through identifying ,a evidence showed the portrait was painted by another painter. He only started to sell canvases when she was 27 years old.It looks like the canvas used for the painting at the time when Austen was older than the girl in the portrait.
     This is where the speaker disagree with the writer.
