1. The government should spend more money on education of very young children rather than on universities.



Education plays critical part in thedevelopment of individuals and the whole Country. I believe that, funding fromgovernment should be divided reasonably both on education of very youngchildren and universities.


It is compelling that quality education ofvery young children is significant in the rest development of people. Childrenwho receive quality education through 3-7 years will prepare them well for thefurther education both pertaining to intellectual and emotional development. Insome area, the early child education is very poor because of lacking teachersand facilities. For example, in my hometown, a very remote and poor village in xx province, some little kids have to stay at home and play at the fieldon the daytime since there is no school for them and their parents have littletime to send them to the school in the town. Consequently, children who canenter college in my home town are very scarce. This phenomenon is not rare inlarge countryside in China. Therefore, I do agree that the government shouldspend more money on the education of very young children comparing the currentscare they have reached.


Nevertheless, we cannot conclude that thegovernment should spend more money on education of very young children ratherthan on universities. The importance of higher education is not less than anyother stage of education through the whole development of children. In theelementary and secondary education, children are taught basic knowledge andskills to understand and adaptive to the complicated world. However, in orderto live independently and decently when children enter adulthood, they mustreceive very professional and technical education from the college. In thecollege, students could select the major based on their real interest andtalent and then obtain the edge-cutting knowledge and techniques to find a jobafter graduation. Therefore, universities are indispensable to prepare peoplewell for their future life in relation to professional and individualdevelopment.


Apart from the responsibility andaccountability of preparing high quality citizenship in the society, theuniversities also are very important places for researches. Researchers aresignificant support for the industrial and societal development. Abundantinnovation and breakthrough in the science and technology are created inuniversities. These theories and inventions make impetus of social improvement.Therefore, government absolutely should invest money in the universities tosustain the researches and studies.


In conclusion, both early child educationand higher education are very important for individual development and socialadvancement. They are bother very important part of the society. Thus, thegovernment should place equal emphasis and investment on these two aspects.
