课本中学的知识重要还是实际经验重要：
I believe that knowledge from books I read is more important for me in my life. （当然知识重要，这个观点更好说一点）。The competition for getting into university in China has always been very tough. Because of the knowledge I got  from books in high school , I managed to score high on all the subjects on the national entrance examination for university and I got to study in the best university in the modern city.（知识可以使我在高考中获得高分，从而在最好的大学中学习）。This changed my life . I was born and grew up in a poor rural area. If it wasn't for my good performance on the entrance exam , I wouldn't be able to  study  in the best university in the modern city.（知识改变了我的生活，虚拟一下，如果没有会怎样）。Equally , knowlege I got from books enabled me to have a good acdemic record in my undergraduate years and to score high in TOEFL and GRE. （知识同样使我在本科及寄托中获得高分）。I am now taking TSE test and I hope I will get the chance to study in a good university in the United States . （现在参加TSE，希望有机会去美国学习）。

乘公共交通还是私人交通工具上班：
I think the public trasportation is a better way of commuting.（公共交通是一种好的上下班工具）。I always try to use as much transportation as possible.（所以我就尽可能多做）。First of all , I feel relaxed on a bus or a subway. I don't have to concentrate on my driving. I can even get some reading or study done dring the riding. （第一个好处可以放松，还可以看报纸什么的，因为不用自己驾驶嘛）。Moreover, I don't have to find a parking place , as more and more drivers are becoming aware of this problem. （第二个好处可以不用担心停车问题）。　In addition, when we use public trasportation , we can help reduce air pollution and traffic jams .（第三个好处是可以减轻污染缓解交通阻塞）。
思路明确，　理由充分，我觉得ＴＳＥ需要的就是这种答案。

在你家周围建一个饭店你是否同意：
We don't think  buliding a hamburger resteraunt is a good idea in this neighborhood . （不是一个好注意）。First , building a resteraunt is going to ugly. It will destroy the nice landscape of this neighborhood.
Look at all these beautiful houses,  a restaurant  is going to be out of place in  this neighborhood . （不适合，毁坏好的风景）。　Second ,  area around the  restaurant  will be very noisy. Possible you have noticed this neighborhood is very quiet. （人来吃饭，产生噪音）。Third ,  everything at a good hamber restaurant  is fried and unhealthy. It is fact that fast food isn't good for you .（快餐不利于健康）。The most important reason is there are enough restaurants to eat and this neighborhood has a nice Chinese  restaurant .（最重要的是此地餐馆已经够多了）。
有两个原因足以。我倒认为多举例是一个不错的应付考试的方法。

审查制度是否合理：
I feel that censorship is appropriate because it is for the good of society.（合理因为有利于社会）。Censorship is mainly used against violence and pogrographic materials. This type of materials contribute nothing to our society.（审查制度是审查暴力及色情的东西，对社会没有任何贡献）。Violence and pogrophy have no value to society. I presonally don't mind that they are banned from media. Censorship can protect children.（应该禁止，对小孩子有害）。It is unhealthy to children to grow up in this environment with sex and violence. I wouldn't want my childrn to read those kinds of books and to watch those kinds of TV show.（不健康，小孩子禁止看那种书和电视）。Would you?  I think censorship is a good way to guarantee our children to grow up in a health environment.（重要之所在）。

拥有枪的问题：
That's a very difficult question for me to answer. （永远不变的第一句话）。Because in my country no one has the right to own a gun and I have no personal experience with guns.（我没有实际经历）。But I have often seen articles in the newspapers that young people in the United States have killed others by using guns. That always make me think that people should not  own guns .（我在报纸上读了什么观点）。On the other hand , I could be totally wrong.（对此问题没有确定的看法）。This is one of the questions that will be a source of conflict for many years to come. This is a very complicated question and deserves a lot of attention. （总之问题很复杂，很难回答了）。I hope experts on this issuse will be solve this very question  in view of all the aspects involved.（希望专家可以解决此问题）。

修改日程：
In regard to the Washinon DC trip ,  there have been some important changes made to the schedule that  I gave you last week. Please note these and make the appropriate changes  to your copies of your schedule.（开场白，有一些变化，提醒注意）。
Frist, the date of the trip has been changed from 4/5 to 4/12. The trip has been scheduled for one week later than originally planned  to accomodate those of you who couldn't participate on the earlier date.（旅行的日期更改及原因）。
The departure time  has  also changed . We will now be leaving for half an hour earlier , departing from the community center at 7: 15 , instead of 8:15.  This is very important to remember because if you arrive  too late you will miss the trip and we will miss you.（出发时间变了，要记住，不然会错过旅行）。
The dinner location has also changed to Capital inn . Because Embassyy restautuat has all booked up and we believe the Capital inn is a nicer resterant and it can commondate the group of our size much better.（就餐地点也改变了， 新餐馆更好）。
The cost per person has also changed from 20$ to 25$. Again , the cost is 5$ more than originally planned . We feel that the trip is very inexpensive and worth the added cost.（花费增加，但是值得）。
All other items on the schedule remain the same . Please note these and prepare accordingly . And as the final remeider, please do not forget that you must bring your own lunch . Thank you .
