It has recently been announced that a new restaurant may be built in your neighborhood. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why？ Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

What makes a good community? You probably would think of several aspects such as safety, great environment, convenience and so forth. As it to say convenience, what makes a community convenience? A convenience community should contain great traffic system, some grocery shops and maybe couple of good restaurants. Therefore, as it for me, I would definitely support a new restaurant built in my neighborhood.

And there comes to some supports ‘pronouncements’ of mine, first and foremost, a new restaurant make the entire community much more colorful, people in the neighborhood added one more place to choose. Not all the people in the neighborhood fancied about cooking, especially after a long days’ exhausted working. There is a big chance that they would love to choose a nice restaurant for their meals. Since people choose to go to the restaurant, they could have much more time focus on chatting with their families which would benefit a lot to getting closer with family members. Or women might like chitchat with the neighborhood and friends around the community. Men could play poker or billiards, which could harvest the harmony of the community. What’s more, if the restaurant could provide excellent food, there is no doubt that the whole community will welcome to it.

Moreover, with a new restaurant’s coming, the old restaurants might feel threatened that they might take sort of measures like giving discount or creating new dishes in order to attract the customers. And which still welcomed by the neighborhoods.
Further more, a new restaurant would bring a lot of job positions, which could benefits the jobless people around the community. That the less jobless people wonder in the neighborhood, the safer the neighborhood is. And with the good running of the new restaurant, it would contribute the community’s economy – the tax. The incoming tax could use for improving the community service.

Admittedly, there is a saying ‘each coin has two sides’, a new restaurant might bring several bad effects, such things like healthy issues, noise issue, or disturbance issues and things like that. These issues may lead the whole community into serious position. That should be taken seriously.

To sum up, I still hold the opinion that a new restaurant’s coming’s of more benefits. Better food service and nice place for rest is such a mercy to the hard working white collar. Due to the serious problems may occurs, the new restaurant need to make a wonderful management to serve the neighborhood.
