After the conversation, you will have 45 seconds to prepare a voice-mail report for Mr. Jacobson, your supervisor at work who has asked for a progress report on the project. Ann: Hi, Bill! Still working on that new employee training manual that the management team decided to revise?

Bill: Oh yeah! It's been quite a job. I wish I hadn't been part of the revisions committee.

Ann: There was a revisions committee? I thought it was just a couple of you working on it.

Bill: No, the management team chose six people for the committee and we met a number of times. We eventually came up with a series of draft revisions.

Ann: Did you agree on all the changes?

Bill: Oh no! That's too much to ask! Well, we agreed about a lot of the revisions, but we ended up sending some to the management team for them to decide.

Ann: And they're still arguing over it, right?

Bill: Nope! They chose what they wanted, approved it, and sent it right back to us to prepare the final form for printing. And this is it! This document is the final form of the revised manual! I'm just taking it to be printed.

Ann: Really! That's great! And when will the new manuals be back from the printers? We're waiting to give them to the new employees to read through.

Bill: I expect you'll be able to distribute them on Tuesday next week.

Ann: Wow! That means we could do the training workshop on Friday. I'll set it up.

The Test of Spoken English ® (TSE) is experiencing changes in its testing format and delivery. These improvements will make it easier to take the test, and provide an opportunity for test takers to better demonstrate their oral language ability.

Changes in Format
Beginning in September 2005, the format of the TSE will change and some new kinds of questions will be included in your TSE administration.

Dear Sir:
We know that TSE is changing for the better.We all welcome it.But we are not very clear if the ACTUAL test on the day of testing(August 23rd) in CHINA is the same as the sample you have provided on the page of "http://www.toefl.org/tse/tseindx.html". We just know your DEFINITE confirmation. Thank you very much. Your timely reply is greatly appreciated。

Thank you very much for your kind and timely reply.But I still have a doubt.That is, are the TYPE and the NUMBER of the questions  in the ACTUAL test identical as the sample you provided in the page of http://www.toefl.org/tse/tseindx.html#tseprac.?
       In other words, Are there only NINE questions in the actual test just like in the sample?
      Are the last two questions (former pretest)scored?
      Won't the questions about "CHANGES OF THE SCHEDULE"  be administered?

     Your consideration will be greatly appreciated!

I've finally got the reply from TSE.

    Thank you for contacting the TOEFL Program.

Regarding your inquiry:

Beginning in September 2005, the format of the TSE will change and some
new kinds of questions will be included in your TSE administration.

To date, the test is approximately 20 minutes long and includes nine
questions.

我拿到的bullintin 上是13
1~9是平常题型
后面四道是先听后说。不积分

我的理解也是：从2003一月到2005改题型（到时候应该是7+4）之间保持以上的题型不变
