综合TPO15：

The reading material provides three methods to control the spread of the cane toad in Austrilia. The professor in the listening material, however, thinks that these methods will be unsuccessful or lead to some unwanted evoromental damages.

First, the author in the reading material suggests that people can build a national fence to prevent the spread of the toad because that the fence can blocks the toad and prevent them from reaching the places that they have not colonized. But the professor in the listening material says that this method cannot successfully stop the spread of the toad, especially the young toad or the toad eggs. That is because that there are rivers and streams which some of the young toads and the toads' eggs live in. So no matter where the fence was established ,the young toad and the toad eggs can come to the other side through the water ways.

Second, the reading material says that the toad could be captured and destroyed by volunteers. The reading material says that indeed volunteers could catch and damage the toads, however, the untrained volunteers may also damage the population of the native frogs, some of which are in dangered now because that it is not easy for the volunteers to tell the toad and frogs.

Third, the author in the reading material provide the methods that developing a disease-causing virus to control the cane toad poputation. But the professor in the listening material thinks that method is a terrible idea. The professor hold her view by the reason that the virus will do harm to the toad in the toad's original inhabitate, the toads of the central of the southern America.The professor explains that the toad always be carried and introduced everywhere. If the toad that infected by the virus be carried to the central of the southern America, the toad in the central of the southern American will be damaged,too. Thus, that will lead to a ecological disaster in the central of the southern American.

To sum up, the author in the reading material provides three method to stop the spread of the toad, while the professor in the listening material thinks these method are not suitable,or even lead to enviromental damage.
