The relationship between human beings is subtle and complicated,as we all acknowledge, because we are all  characteristic. As far as I'm concerned, I support the viewpoint that no matter who we are, we should always display a elegant status to another person. It could be explained according to my own experience and from the philosophical or political angles.


To begin with, it is not rare that we are angry to somebody without griping the whole matters before and in this way, the situation may become more complicated further. An outstanding example is a experience from one of my close friends.She was far regretful after she was mad at someone who was warm-hearted enough to help her cultivating the tree in the garden. She just took him as a jerk to do harm to the trees,acting like a thief,as she claimed afterwards. Obviously, it is avoidable if we calm down first and have an idea about what is happening. Furthermore, a bad mood could influence oneself as the negative emotion will be poisonous to health.


What is more, in the standing of philosophy, we should keep in a polite appearance. As a saying in the confusionism, it is also a mistake for someone revenge another in the same way. If someone treat you impolite, it is not wise for you to be rude ,because you also have the equal low-ethnic as him or her.Instead,just be smart and encompassed about everything! Likewise, it is also mentioned in the Bible that if someone slap you in the left face,just send the right face! The God will teach the victim something useful.


Third, being rude to the competitors in the political world will be regarded as incompetent. There is no wonder that the best way to win over the others is to be nice and smile all the time, expressing your own opinion with the convincing reasoning and evidences. If Obama yelled at the other candidates who challenged his idea seriously, he would have had not become the current president who brings the Americans to a changing future.


In sum, no matter what will happen, just be well-educated and patient enough to get an idea about the matters,thinking about it in a reasonable way and act as  optimistic and a polician who will lead ourselves to turn into a qualified human being.

The lecturer views the three solutions mentioned in the passage to control the increase of cane toad as unsuccessful,or may cause some unwanted damage.


To begin with, it may too hastily to conclude that building a national fence will benefit the ecosystem because there exists some other means bringing the cane toad,for example,by rivers or streams. Since the young toads and cane toad eggs could float from one side to another, the population of the whole cane toad probably rise up with the protection of the fence.


Second, as the lecturer claims, it may work with the assistant of a lot of volunteers, but some other damages are likely occur to the ecosystem with the help of those untrained workers. For example, some rare frogs in the natural environment may face the extinction due to the sufferance they get from the human activities.


Furthermore, introducing some disease-causing virus ,according to what the passage suggests, may be a bad idea,because it is about to influence the conditions in other countries. The lecturer demonstrates the negative effect it may do to America if  the Australian follow this viewpoint. As the reptile and amphibian species are critical as a part of the ecosystem in the USA, the virus brought by the transported cane toad may lead to a devastation of these two kinds of animals,thus it will ruin the whole system.

In the 1990, the UK government had issued a lot of new guidelines and rules to improve the whole situations in the all three areas mentioned in the passage,as the lecturer claims.

To begin with, contradicting to the blame of the construction projects, there is a new regulation that only after the archaeologists' exams,ensuring  that this place does not have any interests or values can the construction projects begin. Also,the fee will be afforded by the local officials and the construction groups. If there are some precious artifacts, the construction are just allowed to be build around them without any damage.

Furthermore, the monetary support will never be short of just after the law ruling the construction groups to pay for the archaeological research besides the governments' fee. This kind of new resource will bolster to reserve much more artifacts in a great large scale. Therefore, the old cultural artifacts will not face the problem because of the inadequate money.

Last, the lecturer refutes the viewpoint that it was difficult to have a career in archaeology according to the current conditions.There are more paid work appearing which did not exist before. Also, they indeed are needed for each process of the archaeological work,like examing,drawing of the location and have reports or articles about it. As the lecturer's statistics,the number of the archaeological workers has reached the highest it has ever been.

Contradicting the three approaches of reestablishing Torreya taxifoha in the same area, moving it to further north far away from Florida or preserving it in the research centers to solve the decline of  it in the passage, the lecturer views that these three may not be useful enough.

To begin with, the coolest , moisturest microclimate may be suitable for the specious trees' survival.However, reestablishment of this species are about to suffer the problems which brought by the global warming. As the temperature around the world increasing, the prior location is getting drier and hotter,therefore, the changing conditions might not do positive effects to slow or stop the continuous reduction of the trees.

Furthermore, it may be much simple to consider coping with the problem with the movement. There exists some other important factors needed to think about. The lecturer takes one species of trees as an example to substantiate the invalidity of this way. After these trees moved to the new environment, it killed other plants and trees which were also in danger to extinction. Hence, this kind of methods has every possibility to do something detriment with further unpredicted outcome.

Last,honestly, the research center has not such a capacity to contain a large number of trees,which may be bad for the trees to resist the diseases. Thus, it is less likely for the trees to survive in the long run. Considering this reason,the lecturer refutes with the idea to reserve the trees in the centers.

In sum,with further evidences and reasoning, the passage is weaken seriously by the lecturer.

First of all, he talks about the process of the company to employ their qualified buzzers.Instead of being the one who are praising for a product just because of the employment, a buzzer indeed think highly of it after his or her own trying out.Therefore, they tell the truth rather then lying to the potential consumers. Just take the lecturer as an example. It is because Bill do like the great phone that the phone company hired him.

Furthermore, the lecturer is against the statement that the consumers are about to be less critical to the compliment and holds on the opposite is right. As a matter of fact, the consumers and buzzers are talking a lot more details about the products,for example,the price,services,or the years have spent using them. Thus, the consumers will get encompassed information about the goods as well as they may be still in the state of suspiciousness.

Last, it is ridiculous to bolster the viewpoint that there exist some harm effects which are likely to ruin the social relationship,as the lecturer claims.The buzzers are always telling the true story with the sincerity and providing information enthusiastically to introduce the products to more consumers,in this way, it plays a positive role to promote people to a higher level as more trustful and open to another.

In sum,with more evidences and reasoning,the passage is seriously weaken by the lecturer.

There is never a reason for people to be rude (impolite) to another person. Use specific reasons to support your answer.

Different people treat others in totally different ways.Someone is nice to everyone,kepping smiling all day long,some easy-triggered persons are always mean and critical to most of things around them. Therefore,due to nonuniform characteristics, the answer will not be the same.As far as I am concerned,I hold on with the viewpoint that no one or reason exists to interrupt us to be polite from the following three aspects.

To begin with, it is something to do with the tradition and the belief. An illustrating example is the Confucianism in China which is always teaching the Chinese a lesson to be lenient to everyone,including the evil.When you catch a thief in the street,what you need to do is sending him or her to the police without judging anything.Of course, to be rude or even punishing him or her on site is not regarded as valid. In the western world, the same story is going around. I remember a story in the Bible,involving one man slapping another on his face. Instead of quarreling with him, the hurt man just sent him the other side of the face. It indicates an idea to be calm and tolerant to this world. Obviously, from the long history of human beings, we have get educated to become a mature man,understanding the wit in this kind of cultural environment.

Second, this question could be explained from the angle of philosophy. As we all know, rudeness or impoliteness is a kind of expressions of the evil,because when we are crab about someone or something,we just temporally forget about the beauty inside it. If we revenge another in the same way, it might as well not be feasible,for the reason that in the philosophy field, the evil will still be endless with the continuous fights. Most of the old is not the people who are always rude to others.It is likely because they are so experienced as to be keen about this philosophy.

What is more, we should consider for our own health when we are about to be crazy about others. Some convincing studies show that angriness plays a negative role to the body. If someone do humiliate you , yelling to him or her is unworthy for the harmful effects it do to our fitness. Rather,you could use the laws to protect your reputation.

In sum, I believe that we could face everything happen in this world with politeness and elegance. To be nice and optimistic is an heiroom of our ancestors and an expression of rationalness which could assist to keep us in the state of healthy.

Contradicting to the three disadvantages of the 'let it burn' policy mentioned in the passage,the lecturer refutes them with the viewpoint that the natural fire could make the environment more creative so that the policy sounds good. The lecturer suggests us paying attention to what has happed after the the fire in Yellowstone.

First, although the fire devastated the trees and vegetations there, it cleaned out more space for other species of trees. For example, a type of smaller trees which need the open and unshielded space for survival began to thrive in the place colonized by the fire in 1988. In this way, the natural fire could play a positive role to make the vegetation or trees more versatile,which conflicts the idea presented in the passage.

What is more, after the fire, the number of the animals will increase with the new wildlife come into the food chain. For a instance, some small animals,such as rabbits, will appear in the empty spaces in the forest where are ideal for their living and their appearance would attract its preyers.Instead of disruption of the food chain,it is of course stronger than before.

Last, it may too hastily jump to the conclusion that the fire will do some negative influence to the local tourism and the economy.As the lecturer analyzes, definitely,the fire will not happen every year. It was because of the combination of continuous rain and strong wind in the 1988 that aroused the catastrophe. However,after that,such a condition have never happened again.Therefore, in the whole sense, the tourism and the economy are likely to be prosperous due to the Yellowstone fire.

Contradicting to the three disadvantages of the ethanol fuel mentioned in the passage,the lecturer views that the ethanol is better than the gasoline with more convincing evidences.

First of all, although the carbon dioxide plays a negative role to the environment,arousing the global warming, the ethanol fuel,which is made from plants, may not damage the surroundings further. In the opposite,the plants will absorb the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which will counteract with the amounts of carbon dioxide it releases when it is burn.Therefore,the lecturer refutes the statement that ethanol fuel will not assist to deal with the environmental problems.

What is more, it is not necessary that the production of the substantiate amounts of ethanol will lead to the reduction of foods available for farm animals.To weaken the viewpoint in the passage, the lecturer refers to another type of the plant, which the farm animals do not prefer to.Therefore, producing a large amount of ethanol fuel from this typical trees is less likely to influence the survival of animals.

Last, as the lecturer says, ethanol fuel will not lose in the competition in terms of price. It is true that the government assistance, the tax subsidies, helps a lot currently,but in the future, the sales of ethanol need not work dependently,since the more needs from the consumers, the lower price it will be.As a study shows, if the number of the consumers increase by 3%, the price of it may decrease by 40%. Therefore, the passage is too unsubstantiated to believe.

In sum, with more reasoning and information,the passage is jeopardized seriously by the lecturer.

10.27  20100306NA Some people believe that people should follow their ambitious dreams and goals even they are not realistic; others believe that people should focus on achieving realistic goals. What’s your opinion and why? Use specific reasons to support your answer.

Almost everyone in the world has his or her own dream to chase after. Someone sticks to become a lawyer, helping others to own justice back,while someone hopes to connect us with the ET in another planet. Obviously, people keep different kinds of dreams with them. As to me,one of the new generation of this society, I prefer to the ones with ambitious goals even they are not realistic. Youth with ambitiousness strives a lot for lives and has more possibilities to change the reality and in the end,will be sure to gain a rich memory which is the best hallmark of the lifetime.

To begin with, ambitious dreams require us more efforts and strength. Unlike the realistic goals, which could be achieved under the tutor of the ancestors, mostly, our dreams push ourselves to explore the ways and burden more sufferings. Considering this, the dream holders dare not to waste a second on the road to their dreams and learn to tolerate much more hardness by ourselves in the world,which bring them to the success finally. Furthermore, the dreamers who have a practical goals may stop fighting when their dreams are realized and begin to squash their money and time, but for the ambitious ones , it is more likely that they will not end the journey to a higher level of reality until they reach it. In this way, our dreams will keep us in an exited state, welcoming each new morning with resolution and belief.

What is more,people with unrealistic dreams may be creative enough to turn the reality into a brand new world in the future. Someone's dream sounds too crazy to believe for others. As a matter of fact,it has a possibility to be a beginning of success. Take one of my university classmates as an example. He is now the CEO of his own sales company as he was always longing for. With his creative mind and critical thinking,he found an effective system to manage the company.Up till now, his company ranks the top in my local town and has made a huge profits,benefiting the hometown a lot.Honestly, when he told me about this, I just took it as a joke,considering the cruel reality and various barricades. Recently,he claims to me that his current goal is to lead his company into the international world and this time I am so proud of him. Therefore, I realize that the first step for us to change the world is to establish a crazy dream and believe we can make it instead of being scared in front of the current conditions.

Last, the ambitious dreams will mark us with the interesting experience which has enriched our lives. Compared to the realistic dream holders, the opposite ones may live a more diverse life. As the classmate I mentioned above, in order to establish his business, he studied MBA abroad for two years and travelled to a lot of places of interest which could be the precious treasure of him.

In sum, people hold different ideas about their dreams and I believe each of it is worthy of our efforts. As a young man, the ambitious dream will encourage us to keep on moving forwards, turning the reality into a new world and leaving us a beautiful memory.
