不少牛校中很出色的美国学生phd中途也会quit的，不过一般人家只是在读phd的过程中发现自己确实不适合这一领域的研究。。。这种情况下教授和学校都会表示理解。。。而且越好的学校包容性越好。。。:) 不过这种美国人基本不在意给不给master文凭。。。

你有去美国交换的经历，这个未必比不上别人211 985的吧 但是对你一开始就想中途退PhD的做法，我也表示很遗憾。这不仅会使以后的学弟妹受影响，而且你每天也会生活在算计、欺骗的氛围下，而得不到属于内心的宁静与快乐，对你来讲也是一种损失。
