有关驾照的问题～

最近看了许多有关驾照的帖子，还是有一些问题求解：
首先就是各州的驾照并不通用，转学后去另外的州考驾照只用考笔考对吗？

然后我听说在美国拿驾照的第一年不可以独立驾驶车辆必须有持有较长时间驾照的人同车，请问是这样吗？

I believe you can use your DL from any state as long as it's valid. If you want a new license from a different state, usu. writing test will be fine, but each state is different so go to yours DMV website.

no. What you said refers to learner's permit, which is not an official document. You could drive with it, but someone with a legal DL should always sit next to you.
Drive all you want when you got the official DL.
