科学最终将是人类的公敌

  没有科学进步，人类社会就没有现在的文明，科学是人类文明的基石，是人类进步的工具，是人类文明发展的源泉，是人类生活的救星，但科学最终可能会变成人类的公敌，理由如下。

科学的核子能源，一方面造福人类无穷，为人类提供急需的能源，另一方面严重威胁人类赖以为生的地球生态环境，核子弹可以灭绝人类，随着科学的进步，核子武器越来越容易制造，最终将会成为人类的公敌，是迟早必然发生的事情。

科学基因工程可以任意地改变人类基因，改造人类的根本面貌，有可能根本改变人类生存的基因，使人类无法在地球上继续生存。也可能通过基因工程，将人类改造成与人类完全不同的种类，具有人类所没有的优势，与人类竞争，最终将人类消灭。

科学基因工程可以改造人类赖以为生的食品，虽然可以获得高产量，但基因食品对人类有长期的毒害作用，长期食用基因食品的人类，导致人类器官功能和结构的改变，最终不能适应地球的大自然环境，逐渐被淘汰灭亡。

科学基因工程可能产生新的致病原，如果毒性足够强大，人类措手不及，不能在短期内消灭致病原，反而被新的致病原所消灭，如同美洲上亿的印的安人，被欧洲传来的天花麻疹梅毒等传染病消灭绝大部分一样，基因工程所产生的新致病原，可能很快就会影响人类。

科学产生的废物，最终会毁灭人类赖以为生的地球，废气破坏保护地球的臭氧层，南极上空的臭氧层大洞在逐渐扩大，人类生存必须的氧气正在流失，总有一天会出问题。科学所产生不可以回收的废物，正在污染海洋河流，土壤空气，最终生态恶化，人类无法生存。

科学方法无限开采有限的资源，地球资源最终将会耗尽，数量庞大的人类没有替代能源，没有生路，只有死路一条。

长期习惯了科学文明的生活，对大自然的冷热风雪等不良刺激不能自然适应，一定要有暖气空调才能生存，机体内调节适应功能丧失，实际上丧失了生存活命的能力，人类最终成为科学进步的牺牲品。

科学发达后的人类生活，十分方便狭义，人类对科学产品产生了依赖，是科学的奴隶，一旦高度发达复杂的科学产品出了故障，而且问题很难短时间解决，人类生存发生危机，最终自我灭亡。

科学进步发展，人们生活不可缺少的生存工具，变成武器。九一一恐怖事件就是明证，人类对科学的依赖性越强，科学的杀伤力就越大，少数人最终可以利用科学来毁灭人类，也是可能发生的事。

人类可能在地球没有被毁灭之前，就可能被无限制飞速发展的科学所毁灭，所以说科学可能将是人类最终的公敌。

人类可以做什么？控制人口是当务之急，适当控制科学进步也有意义，不断改善地球生态环境是必须，节约利用地球有限的能源是明智，让全球人都参加讨论人类的命运是当然。

还是华人的祖宗有远见，从一开始就不准华人发展进步科学，用一套密不透水的儒佛道哲学体系来牢笼住华人，使华人没有发展科学的内外动力，白白放过四大发明，没有兴致开发科学，整天诗词字画，摇头晃脑，桃花园里好种田，天人和一，真是绝妙，华人文化根本就没有科学变成人类公敌的烦恼，只是斗不过西洋的科学坚船利炮而已，现在看来，还是华人文明有远见，是不是？

I agree with Caesar augustus and I believe science will finally find a way out!
This guy must be a sad apple.
Though there are some merits in his argumentation, he is too shortsighted to cast his vision beyond time and space, I mean, how can he predict what will happen in the future with such a fast rate of development that most of the problems could be solved or alleviated? How can he just predict human beings will end in tradegy?
However, as a student of biology, I believe that human beings will one day all be killed by some kind of extremely powerful microorganism, such as a certain kind of virus or so.

to yemy_us, maybe, but I think microorganisms are hard to kill and they can replicate themselves at such a tremendous speed and they mutate often, so it's very difficult for people to find an long-lasting effective way to extinct them.

hehe, it is well known that most of the microorganism cannot survive  extreme conditions, such as over the threshold of 121 C,20min, or low acidity, or high basicity, or UV.... for the reason that the basic skeleton of any living creatures in the world, or say, in this organic nature, is composed of protein, and the like. the most perilous threats come from the immune system of human's inability to prevent from any unknown, or new found infectious bacteria's attack, in your word, virus.   After all, you cannot toss an infected patient to suffer those conditions. Nevertheless, in my view, with the development of genetics and molecule biology,  Human can ultimately fight a way out to diminish, even eradicate any potential harm from outside world and inherent drawback, and build a robust enough man through the operation of gene or molecular clone.  Do you ever enter in laboratory? :)
