114. Humanity has made little real progress over the past century or so. Technological innovations have taken place, but the overall condition of humanity is no better. War, violence, and poverty are still with us. Technology cannot change the condition of humanity.（科技类）

In this era of rapid social and technological change leading to promote the quality of people who can learn many life modes of countries in earth and choose the best life for themselves. Because the war, violence, and poverty which also can be found in old age, are still with us, there are some people will conclude that the technological innovations can hardly change the condition of humanity and made little real progress during the past century or so. As my point of view, however, the real cause in changing the condition of humanity is technology although war, violence, and poverty are still with us.

Firstly, compare from the using tools which people use in modern and old time, we can find that the modern tools will be more advanced than the old tools, such as mobile telephone which can communicate with other people in any corner of world. Moreover, the application of automobile, train and plane in modern times can carry people to any place of earth while people live in old times can hardly to do. In applying various modern tools, quality of people will be promoted continuously and the condition of humanity will gain change better.

Secondly, technological innovation will bring more new information about nature and health to humanity so that people can find a better way to adapt the nature and to avoid the illness. Using information of nature driving from the technological innovation we can more settlements to solve the complicated illness which can hardly be cured in old times. Furthermore, new methods about increasing the human's health will be found more and more by more technological innovation being applied in people's daily life in modern times.

Certainly, war, violence, and poverty are still with us in modern times although humanity has made great real progress in their quality over the past century or so. For us, war, violence, and poverty should be able to avoided by our effort in modern era of more technology be researched, such as Hope Engineering which can help many children who can hardly afford the cost of education to school and U.N which is an organization can help to solve many wars by peace. Otherwise, as to poverty, the promoting quality of people will be the best settlement by technological innovation and more new tools used in modern times such as videophone will do more good to solve the war on the world efficiently.

In conclusion, technological innovation has made much real progress in promoting quality of people over the past century and the condition of humanity will be better in the promotion of more and more new technology. Although war, violence, and poverty are still with us, technological innovations which are researched in modern times will give us more efficient methods to avoid or solve these problems.
