Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The food people ate in the past is healthier than the food people eat today.
Does the food in the past are healthier than the food nowadays? It depends on how people define "healthy" food. When it comes to issues such as contamination, the food past is definitely better than the food we are eating now, but when "healthy" is related with nutiency, it may not nessecery be the case.(要有明确的观点,到底同意还是不同意)
The food nowadays is added by lots of food additives, especially some "modified food" like cakes, chocolates, or foods that require good preservation. Those additives, which always made by chemicals, has(基本语法错误遍布全文,a deal breaker in ibt writing) the function of preservation, making food more softy, or put there to replace for sugar, which may lead to obesity. Some of them are later to shown by research that they are affecting people's health by increase prossiblities of cancer and obesity or high blood pressure. Therefore the food in the past is healthier than the one nowadays because they are more natual and healthy.(中间段没有详细的例子,基本也很难拿高分。)

To grow the food, modern farmers always put extra amount of fertilisers to increase productivities and toxic spray to kill insects. Those DDTs, is toxic to insects, and it is toxic to human too. When the small amount of them is left on the leaves of vegetables, and people eat them, with this toxic effect accumulate for a longterm, people's health can be threaten.
The increasingly heavy industial(拼写错误很伤) contamination today affects food produce too. The soil of the land which grows crops, maize, vegetable and fruits can be contaminated by toxic "heavy metal", which is with atom weight heavier than iron. These metals can be accumulated inside plants and animals. Plant absorb these toxic metals from the soil, then acculmulate them in their body. Then they are eaten by people or animals, and then be accumulated inside human body or animals. Some people accumulate "heavy metal" by absorb them from the meat of animals. Surely the food before is healthier than the one we grow now.(建议不要纯讲道理,因为要想很久,导致写来不及。你的文章风格很雅思,不适合托福。)
However, when consider a netrient issue, the food nowadays may win some scores back(chinglish). First, The transgenetic food may not cause disease, because nowadays there is no significant scientific result shows that transgenetic food is harmful to human's health. Second, people nowadays have modified food by either biological selection? or transgenetic technology, therefore the food produced nowadays is more neutient than before. Third(一个段落有且仅能有一个重点), by modern agriculture method, some integration which is harmful in some food may be reduce. People are actually making eggs which contain less cholestrol than normal eggs with transgenetic experiments. Therefore the modified food products nowadays can be more nutrient and less harmful.
In conclusion, the food in the past are less food additives, less ũҩremain, less toxic metal accumulation, we can say that they are healthier than modern food by consider(ing?) these factors. On the other hand, modern foods, which are genetic mordified, are more nutrient and contain less unhealthy integration than their accestor, are healthier than the food people ate in the past.
