答案是D，选项E错在哪里，是时态不平行吗？

我没考过gmat，但我觉得第一个题的E的more是指数量

第一题，楼上说对了，如果用E，more就不知道是修饰energy-efficient 还是 small cars，而且than后面一定要有those

第二题，while如果我没有记错就是两个意思，一个是“当。。。的时候”，还有是表示一种轻微一些的转折，对于这个句子，这两个意思都不适用，所以当然不能选E。

第一题是因为比较的对象错了。
原句里比较的是cars和time，明显不成立
正确答案的those把比较对象变成了cars

第二题While表转折，这里不适用
