14"It is necessary for everyone to read poetry, novels, mythology and other types of imaginative literature."

Is it necessary for everyone to read imaginative literature? Some people who deny this statement may argue that imaginative literature has little use to some scientists such as mathematics experts and physicists. However, as far as I am concerned, imaginative literature benefits all kinds of people regardless their occupations and ages.

Imagination ability is very important for every person. It is easy to understand that an artist without imagination will hardly create some impressive works. Similarly, a scientist without imagination will also has difficulty in his /her creative research. If Copernicus had no imagination, how could he reach the conclusion that the Sun is the center of the universe at his time? If Albert Einstein had no imagination, how could he found the relation of time and space? Even to ordinary people, the imagination is also significant, for it will help them to find some new method to hand the problems and troubles they are faced.

Although imagination ability is so important, many people lose it while growing old. Therefore, they need imaginative literature to help them re-cultivate ability of imagination. Children usually have strong imagination ability, since there is little cliche in their young mind and they have a strong curiosity toward everything around them. Yet, when they grow up, their imagination ability drops greatly. One main reason may be that they obtain so many experiences from their lives and such experience becomes the fetter of their mind. When adults meet some troubles or problems, they tend to think about how they handle similar troubles or problems before, and then follow their past experiences. Unfortunately, it very likely that there are other better methods which are waiting for them if they could use their imagination. Hence, they need imaginative literature to regain their imagination ability.

In addition, imagination literature also can help children to improve their imagination ability. The best period for people to cultivate the imagination ability is in their youth, for they have the least obstacles in their mind and much potential to improve at that time. Without imaginative literature, the children's imagination ability will develop very slowly. When I was in fundamental school, I often found some classmates who came from country were weak in imagination. When they were asked to draw something freely, they often draw those things which are very like reality. One reason is probably that they had fewer opportunities to read imaginative literature and thus were weak in it. If they also had read many such novels or poetry, they would probably had more imagination.

All in all, since imagination ability is so important, and every one needs to cultivate their imagination ability, imaginative literature will undoubtedly do good to every people, and do good to whole society in a long run.

Is it necessary for everyone to read imaginative literature? Some people who deny this statement may argue that imaginative literature has little use to some scientists such as mathematics experts and physicists(感觉上应该用各介词短语作宾语,experts on mathematics). However, as far as I am concerned, imaginative literature benefits all kinds of people regardless their occupations and ages.

Imagination ability(The ability of imagination) is very important for every person. It is easy to understand that an artist without imagination will hardly create some(any注意这两个词的区别) impressive works. Similarly, a scientist without imagination will also has(have) difficulty in his /her creative research. If Copernicus had no imagination, how could he reach the conclusion(reach the conclusion?) that the Sun is the center of the universe at his time? If Albert Einstein had no imagination, how could he found(find) the relation of(between) time and space? Even to ordinary people, the imagination is also significant, for it will help them to find some new method(methods) to hand(handle) the problems and troubles they are faced(face).

Although imagination ability is so important, many people lose it while growing old. 可是段首就therefore给人感觉怪怪的), they need imaginative literature to help them re-cultivate(连字符有用么?) (the)ability of imagination. Children usually have strong imagination ability, since there is little cliche in their young mind(minds)and they have a strong curiosity toward everything around them. Yet, when they grow up, their imagination ability drops greatly. One main reason may be that they obtain so many experiences from their lives(意思重复they experience a lot) and such experience becomes the fetter of their mind(感觉fetter用作动词更有效果). When adults meet some troubles or problems, they tend to think about how they handle(handled) similar troubles or problems before, and then follow their past experiences. Unfortunately, it very likely that there are other better(other better留一个就可以了) methods which are waiting for them if they could use their imagination.

When I was in(冠词或者my)fundamental school, I often found some classmates who came from(the) country were weak in imagination. When they were asked to draw something freely, they often draw those things which are very like reality(这句有问题). One reason is probably that they had fewer opportunities to read imaginative literature and thus were weak in it. If they also had read many such novels or poetry, they would probably had(have) more imagination.

All in all, since imagination ability is so important, and every one needs to cultivate their imagination ability, imaginative literature will undoubtedly do good to every people, and do good to (the)whole society in a long run.

14"It is necessary for everyone to read poetry, novels, mythology and other types of imaginative literature."

Is it necessary for everyone to read imaginative literature? If Albert Einstein had no imagination, how could he found the relation of time and space? Even to ordinary people, the imagination is also significant, for it will help them to find some new method to hand the problems and troubles they are faced.

Although imagination ability is so important, many people lose it while growing old. Therefore, they need imaginative literature to help them re-cultivate ability of imagination. In addition, imagination literature also can help children to improve their imagination ability. The best period for people to cultivate the imagination ability is in their youth, for they have the least obstacles in their mind and much potential to improve at that time.

All in all, since imagination ability is so important, and every one needs to cultivate their imagination ability, imaginative literature will undoubtedly do good to every people, and do good to whole society in a long run.

1. Imagination本就是“想象力”的意思,所以不用再加上ability;

2. 全文只有一个理由:那些富于想象力的文学作品能够培养人们的想象力和创造力:)显得单薄了点。这也是为什么你觉得文章不够长的原因,呵呵;

3. 文学作品是对生活的抽象和艺术化,可以将过去的历史和社会重现或者说是反映,通过阅读这些作品,人们可以回顾历史,有助于对于现在的理解;

4. 如果要谨慎一点,还可以加上一条:Imaginative literature is definitely helpful for people, but not necessary for everyone. 如果有些人实在不喜欢看这些东西,而对于精确的科学和严密的逻辑思维感兴趣,那也没有必要强迫他们来看这些文学作品;
