if you are looking for a job in financial area, Toronto has way more opportunities. However, if you can apply statistic canada (they hold annual recuritment exams every year), ottwa hospitals, health canada (also a government agency). It's better to approach professors and be informed of any opportunities. The above places usually circulate job add within the stat department at your school.
