签证经历非典型，虽然被check，但在我意料之中，总体来说我对这个结果还是满意的

背景：2000年在thu小本毕业，专业然后在研究院4年相关工作经验，敏感专业啊。去
Ucincinnati的NE学health physics

签证流程不多说了，我是预约的下午1点半，12点多就在使馆外排队，但是差不多排到4点

才轮到自己去签。刚进去的时候一共开了4个窗口，5678依次是jfmm，美男，dtt和yygg。
到了快4点时glassboy（是这么叫的么，感觉是个美国大爷）出现在了4号窗。下午的总体
感觉除了dtt仍然是个杀手，据掉一些以外，其他的vo遇到f1全奖基本都放，但是半奖和自
费的情况不是很乐观。
轮到我这一列的时候，dtt和yygg都快签完上一列了，虽然我不是很在乎VO，但是唯独还

是不希望遇到dtt，简直是拒人于无形啊。幸好天随人愿，终于到了yygg那里。我是第四个
签的，前面一个gg和一个mm好像是自费的，都被据掉了，第三个是一个去Boston Univ的哥
们，三分钟快速pass，相比之下，旁边dtt这一列却连续放过了n个f1。让我不免有些紧张
。

终于轮到我了
m：nice to meet you
v: nice to meet you. ************(第一句就把我说晕了,实在是没听懂）
m: Excuse me?
V：what will you study in US?
m: (这下听清楚了）I will study for my PhD in Nuclear and Radiological
Engineering program in the University of Cincinnati.
v: what? pardon?(我都晕了，他居然没听懂！是我口语太烂还是......)
m: nuclear and radiaological engineering
v: OK, so************（真是晕啊，又没有听懂，汗颜......)
m: (鼓起勇气）Pardon?
V: What do you do with your PhD?(绝对换了个说法，这下我才明白过来）
m：sorry，I am a little nervous, you mean after graduation?
V: It's OK. yes, your plan.
m: After completion of my study, I will come back to China and seek a position
to continue my research on nuclear and radiological engineering. In fact, my
first choice to come back to my current lab at ****. **** lack the faculties w
ho engage in almost all the aspects on nuclear engineering, while it has many
plans todevelop advanced research on reactor physics, nuclear measurement, hea
lth physics and so on. when I...(这里被打断）
V：what are you doing now? any research papers?
m: （赶紧递上abstract of my papers）. Ok, here you are.
V: （随便看了看，放在一边，刚想说什么，被我抢先）
m：I also have the support letter of my current directors, do you want to see

it?(然后将其送了进去）。
v：（没有拒绝，但是看了看以后又微笑着将其还给我）your transcript?
m: （继续递上之）this is my transcript.
V: （看了看,又放在一边，开始对着电脑打字，然后突然问我）what are you parents

doing now?
M: （意外，难道要放我了？）My father is........, My mother is.....
V: （笑了笑，又回头对着电脑打字,然后是半分钟的沉默）
m：（我觉得自己该说些什么了）Currently, I am working at ****, one of the best

nuclear research institutes in China, and engaged as an assistant engineer at
the **** Laboratory under this institute. I mainly took the research on reacto
r physics and nuclear safety in the last 4 years......（正想继续说NE在中国的大
好前景
.......)
V：（微笑,开始写兰条）You have strong academic back ground, but I will check

you, the time .... is about a month
M: （接受这个结果，不想争辩了）Ok, thank you very much, please call  my
mobile phone. and this is the support letter of my fututre advisor, I think it
will be helpful to the check.(将sl送进去）
V：（笑着接受，在护照上盖章，和兰条一起递出来，留下了sl，abstract，当然还有
resume和I20）
M：（收拾东西走人）have a nice day!

感想：形式还是不错的，yygg对F1全奖尤其友善，虽然我们沟通都有些问题。感觉他问了

我的专业，再看了我的paper以后就已经决定check了，后面只是过场了。VO们一般不会轻
易拒人，只会找到该check的check罢了。另外，他们都不太相信国内老板的sl了，可能这
样的sl太多太滥了。对于后来的xdjm，我想说的是：今年的美国的政策放松决定了签证的
容易，大家只要好好想一下25问，都不会有太大问题的，但是心态非常重要，就抱着聊天
的心态和VO说话，说出自己真实的感受，多和他们沟通就好，不要把他们当作自己的敌人
。

接下来就是等待check结果的过程了，希望大家都能顺利获得visa！
