I grew up in the romantic city of Harbin, China, also known as “little eastern Paris” because of the many beautiful baroque and rococo churches and buildings. I spent my childhood playing the clarinet and drawing. Music and the fine arts have always been a major part of my life. Growing up in this environment gave me the opportunity to have many cultural experiences, contributing to my sincere desire to pursue a more beautiful world. I intend to do this further with my studies in architecture at UCB.
