港大经济 港科金融数学该如何取舍

100% disagree to the logic.

1. HKU MEcon is in the business school. But actually, it is quite clear that they are not enjoying the career service of the HKU business school too. Limited business school are for MBA, who had paid a high tuition, and undergraduates.
2. Comparing program by input quality is generally not a good idea, at least not a major one. Tons of other factors.
3. It is not reasonable to compare cohort ability based on English ability. Does the higher average IELTS scores in the art faculty over the engineering faculty implied that art students are better than the engineering one.
4. Technical role in the industry are not limited to BB and HF. and actually there are MSc students getting interview and offers from that (for sure, it is competitive are far from common, just like getting a good offer from any university and major)

完全不懂用雅思来评判招人质量标准的。。。
私以为科大项目质量普遍高于港大，港科金数的项目名声在外，真是不懂怎么就比不上水的出名的港大经济了

为了做quant去读个phd才让人看不懂吧...

利益相关：已交fm留位费，确定去该项目
本科是学数学的，对港大经济学了解不多，就单说下港科的fm专业吧
对于前面说的雅思问题，的确大多数的录取生雅思在6.5左右，但是今年fm专业有了一些帮助新生提升语言水平的举措，三月底开始对于accept的学生进行作文辅导，并且（重金？）请了哈佛比较文学的老师来批改我们的作文，教授还要求我们尽量在开学前得到雅思写作口语7的分数。
关于其他的例如工作什么的我还没法解答，欢迎私聊我加下fm的录取群，里面有很多学长学姐，还有负责我们（一部分？他是这么说的）就业的教授
