No such Robert in their NY office. He either quit his job from STB or became invisible therein.

I stand by my claim that Robert is not CURRENTLY working in STB. If you add "formerly working in STB" or between jobs, that would be acceptable. However, false advertisement of any sort is not acceptable. If you want to risk or ruin another attorney's career, it's your call.

Again, the first question remains:
What is your full name and current title, Robert?


PS: I have several contacts currently working in STB's NY office. One of them was my classmate and gym-buddy.

I am not Robert; just a Chinese member of our organization who helps organize this free seminar. (And I cannot type Chinese characters now).  

You are right. I, as a Chinese co-organizer should have added in my post that former STB as Rob recently left the firm and started his own. Thanks for the correction and again; his academic background with Harvard & Cornell and 11-year working experience with STB is real and non-questionable.

The idea of this online seminar is to help our Chinese. Everyone in my group input lots of spare time and energy to serve our students. Rob proved in his last online free seminar that he was a great help for our Chinese students. We just want to keep this free seminar going forward. Again, 5 USD is to the third party online live conference room. Many students expressed they totally understand this. Hope my further explanation can dismiss your impression about what we are doing:)

Though there can be little doubt as to the existence of such an attorney, I guess JD@UVA's nagging concern involvoled Robert's affiliation with Simpson Thacher.

Incidentally, please be aware that any misrepresentation may predispose an attorney to disbarment pursuant to NY Judiciary Law.

New York Judiciary Law § 90(2)
The supreme court shall have power and control over attorneys and counsellors-at-law and all persons practicing or assuming to practice law, and the appellate division of the supreme court in each department is authorized to censure, suspend from practice or remove from office any attorney and counsellor-at-law admitted to practice who is guilty of professional misconduct, malpractice, fraud, deceit, crime or misdemeanor, or any conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice;  and the appellate division of the supreme court is hereby authorized to revoke such admission for any misrepresentation or suppression of any information in connection with the application for admission to practice.

Hi- thanks for your tips. Rob's 11 year experience with STB is still real information.I have revised my initial post by putting "former" as Rob recently left STB and start his own firm.
