关于课程描述的问题

申请马大的一个专业，要求有statistics courses的课程描述，“All candidates need to provide proof of statistical knowledge. ”，想问一下大家，数学类的课程是不是都算在内？包括计算机类的课程吗？（我申请的track是information management）

我问了学校但是感觉说了跟没说一样。。。
With statistics courses we simply mean the statistics courses you have had, or courses in which statistics formed a major part of the course. In your descriptions, make sure you clearly state what the content of these courses were and to what extent statistics was part of it.
