准备TSE时就想一定要为后人们留下点什么，因为相比于铺天盖地的TOEFL和GRE备考
资源来说，大家对TSE方面的积累少之又少。昨天领成绩，居然是50。真是喜出望外
呀！现回忆考试当天的全过程，主要是我当时的回答及其他一些花絮，希望能给
8TSEer一些帮助。如果有空再写写个人感受或经验什么的吧。

以下是题目和回答：
我可能占了一点语音语调的巧，因为我回答的内容并不充实，逻辑也有些混乱。

1 看图说话，以前卷子中出现过，mm&gg去outdoor market买东西，买了一张古董
桌子和台灯，然后车子满了放不下，想退，和salesman理论了一番终于拿到refunds

Ans: Let me tell you what happened yesterday. You know we went to
the ourdoor market. We parked our car outside and walked in. We
looked around and found a lot of things are（语法错）on sale, such as T-
shirts and antiques. Finally, we picked one table and one lamp. But you
know when we went out and tried to fix the goods into our car, we
found that we could not do it. So we went in and return the goods. We
asked for refund. But the manager said we couldn’t get a refund. So
we were very upset. But we convinced them and finally got our refund.
So we were very lucky yesterday.

2 有些人认为people today 喜欢purchasing clothes, furniture, electronic
euquipments，你怎么想？

Ans: I disagree that people are purchasing too much clothes, electronic
equipment and furniture. In my opinion, the living standard is very high
today. As long as people can afford it, they can buy those things. And
those things improve our life a lot. For example, good clothes can make
us feel good. We feel good when wearing good and fashionable clothes.
Also, electronic equipment give(语法错) us a lot of convenience. They are
not luxuries, but today’s necessities. And furniture can give comfort in
our home. Furniture can be used to decorate our house(没讲完)

3 如果你能在另一个地方born，想象你如今的生活是什么样子

Ans: If I grow up in a large city, which I am(语法错) not. I was born in a
small country, in the countryside. If I grow up in a large city, probably I
can not ride a bicycle now. But I get to use more public transportation
such as subway, train and buses. Also I get to enjoy more concerts and
live performance. I can buy more fashionable goods because shopping
in large city is more convenient. And I can choose from a variety of
goods. There are more sizes and brands.(没讲完)

4 有些人work得去many different places，有些人仅仅在one single place工作
说说这两种工作形式的advantages
Ans: In my opinion, both type of work have their own advantages.
When you (停顿N秒) have a work with no travel, your life is stable. You
feel safe all the time. And you get your own living tempo because you
can organize you time. But on the other hand, if your work require a lot
of travel, then you are not in control of your life(真是脑子短路，这么没逻辑的
话也说。最糟的是，当我意识到错了，想去纠正，结果就成了反复强调：-（)
Because you do not control your whole life. But your job can give you a
lot of new experiences since you go to so many places.(没讲完)

5 pie，education of students in Taylor schools
Ans: the graph below shows the education of students in Taylor school
in 1998 and in 2003. Now look at the significant information in the
graph. First, in 1998. The number of students stopped schooling before
graduate accounts for one half of the total students. Students who
finished high school and earned a college degree accounts for 35%. And
students who finish high school without a college degree accounts for
15%. In 2003, things have changed. We can see a dramatic increase for
students who finish high school and not earn a college degree to 65%.

6 有些人认为parents should be all invloved in the education of their
children's schools，有些人认为只有教育专家can be invloved in the education
of their children's schools，你的想法
Ans: In my opinion, parents should be all involved in the education of
their children when making decisions. The most important thing is
parents do know their children. They know their children better than
teachers do. They know what their children want or whether they
should receive education or not. Also parents should be responsible for
the education. They have the responsibilities. Teaches can not make
such an important decision so parents should(没讲完)

7 你的同事想上professional school来充实工作，要求你给出opinion:
1) active response to his plan
2) explain why this night study will benefit his current position
3) tell him how this study will help him advance his career

Hello, Jack. I think the professional training will do you good. I think you
should take it. It will help with your current project which computer skill
is highly demanded. Since the training is for your computer skill, you can
do the work better. And our company value the performance on the
project a lot. If you perform this project very well, it will show your edge
when you want to advance your career. I think you should go. Right?

8 vioce message: mm打电话给fast moving company 抱怨说你们workers 约好
2：00 pm来俺家搬东西，但是现在6：00pm都没有影子，俺很郁闷，俺明天9：00要
去work，今天晚上还想睡个好觉。
Hello, Susan. This is Anna Scott(冒充呀，来自我最喜欢的电影) and I am the
customer-service representative of Move Fast moving company. I am so
sorry for your inconvenience. I believe it is all our fault. I just get contact
with the truck and they are on their way. Your goods should be arrived
before 8 in the evening. Please be patient. Again, please accept our
apology for your problem and I promise this will never happen again.
Please let me know if I can do anything else for you. Thank you and you
have a nice day.

9 复述conversation：一个presentation for conference，流程图， make
travel arrangement->reserve hotel room->schedule preconference
meeting->prepare material->practice presentation
Hello, Mr. boyd. This is Anna Scott and I am gonna give you a report on
the process of the preparation for the professional conference. Actually
we are going on pretty smoothly and so far travel arrangement have
been made and all the hotel rooms are reserved already. We were also
able to prepare meeting materials. I believe we are still in schedule.
Now we will schedule preconference meeting soon. And after that, the
group presentation is scheduled to be practiced on tomorrow. This is all
I have for you now. If I ever have updates, I will let you know right
away. Please call me if you have any questions. Thank you and you
have a nice day.

花絮：
考试那天我很不在状态。我是同一天上午考托，下午考TSE。所以上午考完人就已经
exhausted了。下午要求考生1:15PM到考场。结果我人品不好，一直等到将近5点。
在那最后几小时里，我没有一点练习的欲望（除了最后考试，那天下午基本没说英
文），就趴在桌上昏睡。
科大考场分成七个分考场。六个打电话，一个直接录音机录音，据说两种效果是一样
的。我是打电话的。//xixi，我好像有汉语被他们录下了：）因为当时进考场时，监考老
师说等会他把电话给我时就不要和他说话了。接着他拨了一系列号，然后把话筒给我。
我接过来，一边问老师：“是不是现在就不要跟你说话了？”那老师气得直向我摆手。
后来做到先听一段话的题时，正听着，居然冲进来一个人！监考老师很快将他赶走了，
不过还是可怜了我那道题：）
当时考完觉得很糟，心想是烧钱了。（唉，如果真烧的话，比烧钱快多了。不到十分
钟，就能烧掉一千元。）其实考前就觉得没戏，所以一个送分学校也没填。当时监考老
师说我讲得不错，劝我送分。可我还是没有免费送分。亏了：）
