With the development of technology, many inventions changed our life. Of the numerous innovations movies and televisions certainly influence people’s behavior both physically and psychologically.
Firstly, it is obvious that many people imitate the dress and gesture of a film star in a movie or a popular singer in the television, especially for teenagers. In recent years, Korean TV programs are favored particularly in China by both juniors and seniors. Many teenagers love the TV stars so much that they imitate their dress, speak the tone like them and even want to learn the language of Korean. That is not what I advocate, but the phenomenon is the fact we face in my country.
What is more, films and TV programs can satisfy some people’s emotional need to some degree. Though we all known that what happens in the films or TV programs is not realistic, some may be addicted to the imaginary situations and laugh and cry for the characters in the scenario. Take the housewives as an example, several years after their marriages, they may feel boring about their ordinary life. As a result, they are eager for the exciting or peculiar things which can be found in the TV programs.
Last but not the least, some new values can bring with films, especially the foreign ones. Nowadays, films from Hollywood are favored by most people all around the world. The consequence is that new values, regardless of whether they are positive or negative, are accepted by the people who are not native Americans. With the tendency of globalization, this step is accelerated by commercial trades.
In conclusion, movies and televisions are changing people’s clothes, emotional feelings and even values or cultures, which leads to the advancement of the whole world.

Whether movie or television do influence people’s behavior is becoming a hot issue in society. Although I am not titled to give the correct judgment, I would say it depend on how much you watch them. However, movies or television more or less influence people’s behavior.
As the portions of the mass media, it does not only transmit the information but also infuse its internal implication to people’s brain. Meanwhile the reception of the information are processing new signal as a feedback. And your nerve centre will response for the procedure. Just take the violent program for example, it is indeed corrupting the senses of children who read or watch them by any way. Because of the lack of law knowledge induce the youth to the subsequent crime deed. They are so naïve that they can not get the criterion of whether you are granted to do this or not. There always exists some adverse factions in the movie or television programs and they always appears to be cool or handsome which attracts youth a lot. They begin to imitate their performance and make it into practice. I just heard from a awesome news in ZheJiang. Five nonages encase a girl and toss it to the QianTang river after they murder her and cut the corpse into pieces. Their behaviors truly frighten me a lot.
Affection issue also plays an another role in the people’s daily life. It once distressed many souls of the sensitive people. Their original ways of dealing with affection are distorted by the absorbing in the way of the actor or actress performed in the script. In addition to the situation, they did even more impractical. They have lost their patient to get well with their lover. But the sequence is always leading to the negative effect. The tragedy is always born to the reckless people.
There are also advantages of the transmitting of the mass media. People can get the instant news from television. They can understand the status of the society and the development of his country. Watching TV also takes place of walking around the place u do not really want to appear but eager to understand it. You can take the advantage of the live sport TV show which you can not get to the scene.

They are a source of knowledge and information and can be used to affect personal view toward the life and world (This paragraph works well. As perhaps the most popular media, movies and television give us a broad window on the world. News programs allow us to learn the events all over the world without us being there. Movies and television can provide us the knowledge of local customs, the development condition and diversity of cultures and races of our planet. Many well-made documentary films and television programs provide vivid descriptions and explanations of mystery animal world and outer space and allow us to explore the unknown realm.
Movies and television can also be used as a powerful tool to influence people’s thinking and behavior. A touching movie and TV story series may be always rooted our mind with the unforgettable character image. Such kind of character is often intentionally used to shape a hero or a perfect “person”. Sometimes the character’s behavior and thoughts can be used to create socially desirable moral and behavior standard. Watching live music concert or an art exhibit on TV notably reduces our stress and makes us get a relaxation. It also helps us to develop our own aesthetic criteria and enables us to identify which kind of art forms is our favorite.
The impact of movies and television can be negative. Watching too much movies and television makes us less physically active. Some unhealthy and violent programs cause some people imitate the character on the screen committing crime, even suicide. But such negative impact can be contained by advocating high-quality programs and discouraging excessive watching.

However, that’s only part of the story. Another far more important effect TV brought is highly positive. Several factors are presented in the following.
The principle positive factor lies in that TV provides a great deal of opportunities and chances for people to broaden their view sights, increase their knowledge and upgrade their abilities and capacities. As you know, there are many meaningful programs in the aspects of science, technology, education, health, geology and life. People can learn a lot from them. Furthermore, as many programs are so vivid in images, processes and details that they make people be able to learn a great deal in a short period of time.
Second, as there are more and more programs involving families and groups, they result in many chances for families and friends to participate in certain programs cooperatively, which help increase the communication among families and friends. An instance is that the “Lucy 52” and “Happy Dictionary” in CCTV in China, which require families and friends to cooperate effectively in the process.
