There are two types of laws: just and unjust. Every individual in a society has a responsibility to obey just laws and, even more importantly, to disobey and resist unjust laws.

What the speaker asserts seems too extreme.I concede that there does exist just and unjust laws.Otherwise, in my view each individual has a responsibility to obey not only just laws,but also unjust laws and tries its best to turn unjust laws into relatively just ones.  

1\ In such a complicated modern society fraught of various interest groups,there nearly is bond to exist both just and unjust laws in every country.

2\ individuals in a society first and foremost have responsibilities to obey all laws regardless of the characteristics of just or unjust for the sake of social stability and people's interests.

3\Yet more importantly,they have the obligations to critique and try all licit means to amend or change unjust laws on the part of them.

What the speaker asserts seems too extreme.I concede that there does exist just and unjust laws.Otherwise,in my view each individual has a responsibility to obey not only just laws,but also unjust laws and try its best to turn unjust laws into just ones through licit means.

In an era of modern complicated society, both just and unjust laws exist in every country.As we all know,throughout the whole world,despite of various political or social systems, every country or region has a myriad of interests groups due to their varied,even conflicted beliefs, conventions, interests and so forth.Thus these various interests groups inevitably live together and deal with each other in bussiness,study,work etc. in a society or region rather than be seperated as a result of developing civilization.And the key word of a nation--laws,are compromise contracts of different  interests groups in order to keep the whole society stable,safe and prosperously developing. Therein are problems.Could a law system embrace all wills of various interests groups?Certainly not.Hence laws have to keep a balance among those interests groups and naturally incur just and unjust laws relatively.Looking into all nations and regions on the earth, from Arabian nations whose most people believe in Islam to western highly developed nations,such as America,France,Britan and so on, no one can pick out a nation whose laws are all just.

Regardless of their just or unjust characteristic, each individual has a responsibility to obey their laws.Since laws are imperative compromised rules  of a society fraught of various conflicted interest groups,they guarantee and protect rights and interests of each member under their systems.French great thinker Rousseau once said(and I paraphrase),"In a democratic society, a state represent the general will of the citizens,and that in obeying laws each citizen is pursuing his/her interest." From the words we know what laws mean and how they function.When one disobey some law ,even if it is unjust, he/she inevitably is damaging or reaving others' interests illicitly.So,for the sake of better protecting and more eternal pursuing one's interest, each individual are compulsived to obey each existing laws.

So,obeying unjust laws is just a prerequisite for each one's interests and social stability,and one must take further steps to change the unjust laws on the part of them into relatively just laws licitly."No society can make perpetual constitution,and make perpetual laws."said Jefferson,American President and one who played an important  role in drawing out the constitution of America(and I paraphrase). The nature of law destine that once it is executed,it is prepared to be amended better,even be demolished. A telling example is that the government of Woodrow Wilson yielded eventually and the 19th Amendment on Constitution was passed after  millions of  women paraded and protested drastically but in licit ways. In sharp contrast, in the famous trial of Simpson Murder, the justices behaved illicitly and disgustingly and setensed Simpson to innocence regardless of enough valid evidences,narrowly because of their discontent with the unjust treat to blacks of the constitution.Certainly only those licit way to change unjust laws succeeded lastly, nevertheless, those who disobeyed even resisted unjust law failed and reversely got penalties.

In conclusion,in order to protect interests of each individual and keep the society in order, everyone has a responsibility  to obey just and unjust laws and  take further licit measures to  change unjust laws into relatively just ones.
