“What happens between international and national cultures” is a popular topic in our modern community at present, demonstrated by this lovely photo in which there is an American girl, wearing a special Chinese dress, with a sweet smile. It seems like that she is satisfied with her clothes thereby interested in Chinese cultures.

As seen in this photo, different cultures no matter from China or other countries all take a great deal effects on each other. The explanations interpreting this tendency of the world are diverse. First of all, with the development of Chinese economy and the open of Chinese door, a growing surge of foreigners are rushing into China. Not only do they bring their cultures to us but also they contact Chinese cultures. Second, because of our ancient and attractive cultures, many foreigners are fond of these mysterious cultures. Finally, in order to express this emotion, they wear Chinese clothes, eat Chinese food, even speak Chinese language, and assimilate this spirit into their life styles.

Absolutely, the interaction among various cultures is a definitely positive phenomenon, which results in Chinese cultures being accepted to more people and conveyed to more distant places. Thus, it is high time that we took measures to advocate this trend.
