2, new comers could provide new ideas and original perspectives to analyze the problems.
3 however, there is rare that the totally ignorant of some fields could contribute to the advancement. Either they have learned sth by themselves or they are helped by other people. In this sense, it is the combination of knowledge that lead to the significant development.
4 Many importance contributions are made by experts who have concentrated on that field for long rather that outsiders.
