The speaker want to tell us we may not get a better society in future because we do not know how to cultivate children with certain quality which is gained from how they are socialized. In my view of point,，this is doubtful.
       Firstly, what is a better society? Perhaps everyone has its own answer on his/her own behalf.
While basically a better society for all the people should give most of people more benefits in the following three areas: economy, law or political right and art. Naturally a starve man will not think the society’s good, so we must insure that people in our society can survive and even more live a good life first. And then a better society should provide their people better rights in the political and law. I believe nobody would live in a rich society that does not even give him the right to speak. People use there right in law to protect their other rights. A better society protects these basic rights of every people even if they are not the top class in the society. What’s more, a boom art activity is always a character of a better society.      
       If we know what is a better society, then is there necessary for us to specifically raise children who can help to construct a better society? In my view, there is no need or our education system is doing this for us at the moment. Our education system teaches children the basic living ability, their love to the country, the society and the people live around them. It just like a nature system that obey the Rule of Darwin, their will always be a winner, he will be the leader in the society who will lead the society to improve in the three areas former related, while many other work in their common work places, server the society for their love to their own life and the whole society. The different courses in our education system can provide children lots of choices, they can be a lawyer, a doctor or a scholar, but they will all contribute to a better society.
       And at last, the destiny of society is not only determined by the people's quality in it. The development of a society can be very complicated which may be influenced by dozens of factors such as natural disasters, plagues, wars and so on. If we conclude that we can lead to a better society only if we have better next generation will doubt if a comet happened to collide with earth at our intending  "golden generation”, what will the result be? And I don not think the dinosaurs extinct several billions of years ago is weaker than their former generations. Look back to history, we can see many natural change that leads to great movement or even extinct of a society, for example the civilization of Mars. Admittedly, the people which is the main component of a society greatly effect the development of the society, however, more situation or condition must be considered because the complexity of the process of society development.
       In sum ,there may be much more work waiting for us to make our education system do much more better ,while we should also see the fact that our education and the competition in it is electing and cultivating talents who can help us build a better society .Even though we do not have enough children who can help with this work, the direction of the development of a society is not only decided by these people and how they are socialized, it is related to more factors ,and we should think all of them together instead of only one of them, only then can we build our bright future.
