With the increasing complexity of knowledge and technology and the emergence of new areas of disciplines comes the people’s growing awareness of cooperation. Living in this era, some people, including the speaker, insist that in modern world, no field of study can advance significantly without the expertise in diverse fields. Despite some exceptions, I generally agree with the speaker that in most areas, expects from various can facilitate the improvement of a particular discipline

Admittedly, in the realm of arts, whether the music, architecture or literature, the effect of outside knowledge are not significant. The reason is simple: the art is the production of the artistic authentic and a creation of the artist's inspiration. The achievements of arts rely chiefly on the artist's keen insights into the society and gifted thoughts rooting in the daily life. For example, the geometrical knowledge is useful for a visual artist, but even 1000 mathematicians can not help an artist lacking imagination. Also, an architectural artist can receive a lot from the physical knowledge but he or she can not elevate his works to new aesthetic heights without his ideas and views in architecture.

However, in most areas, the expertise in diverse disciplines is vital to the progress of a certain disciplines. The example of the exploration of ancient civilization can help to illustrate the perspective. Consider how a historian's knowledge and ideas about an ancient civilization is enhanced by not only the archeologists--who unearth the remains and segments of an ancient city--but also by the biochemists, geologists and astronomers. By analyzing the bone, blood, teeth and hair of the mummified bodies, the biochemists can determine the common causes of death of the population, the habits of the ancient people and the diseases of that age. There experts can also ensure the proper preservations of the fragments and remains of the bodies. The geologists are needed to tell the climate and the living environment of the ancient groups and the source and age of the materials of the tools, weapons and structures. Then, the astronomers can help to illustrate the positions of the structures, tombs and temples for the ancient people usually looked to stars when they search for the positions for their structures. All of the experts help to represent an   ancient city to enhance the historian's knowledge.

Another forting example involves the developments of electrical engineering.  In the early days of electronics, the basic electronic devices were radio and telegraphy. The real force that impetus this disciplines is developments of mathematics, materials, physics and computer technology. With the researches in materials and physics, the engineers designed the electronic components and integrated circuits, which made the automatic control possible, the mathematical development and the mathematical application of computer ensures the control system stable. In recent years, computer simulation technical in power systems is necessary in study of electric engineering. On balance, it is the help of outside experts that facilitate the significant development in electrical engineering.

In sum, with exception of art, the expertise in diverse disciplines is vital to the development in most areas. The example of history and electric engineering can help to illustrate the importance of cooperation among different disciplines.

我不是很赞同这种一大段一大段举例子，就是北美4这种写法。我觉得需要多点理论或者让例子简洁。正在完成这篇文章，写完你来看。
