I am pleased to inform you of your appointment as Scholar in the Economics Ph.D. program for the academic year 2007/08.  
The Scholar Award carries a full tuition scholarship.  Living expenses and other fees are not included in this award.  
These expenses are expected to be approximately $11,000 per academic year.  The full tuition scholarship will be awarded for 4 years, dependent upon successful progress in the program.
I am pleased that you have selected the Economics Department at Clark to further your education and hope you will be with us in August.  Please inform us by April 30 whether you accept or reject this offer.
