In a not to be missed opportunity 2003 Economics Nobel Prize Winner
Professor Rob Engel will speak at UTS on 18 April in a free public lecture.
This is part of the Nobel Laureates Public Lecture series complementing
the "Beautiful Minds" the centennial exhibition of the Nobel prizes from
April 18-30 June 2007.

UTS will be the ONLY venue in Australia to host "Beautiful Minds" the
centennial exhibition of the Nobel prizes from April 18-30 June 2007.
Curated by the Nobel Museum in Stockholm, Sweden, the Exhibition's
international tour visits UTS in April on the penultimate leg of its six
year, 14 country tour before heading to Abu Dhabi.

Professor Rob Engle (Nobel Laureate Economics, 2003)
Global financial volatility - its measurement, interpretation and causes
Professor Engle is Michael Armellino Professor of Finance in the New
York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is visiting
Australia as a guest of the ARC Financial Integrity Network. His Lecture
is hosted by the UTS Research Centre for Quantitative Finance in the
Faculty of Business.

Professor Svante Lindqvist
The Nobel Prize as a mirror of 20th-Century science and culture
Professor Lindqvist is the Director of the Nobel Museum in Stockholm and
was previously Professor of History of Technology at the Royal Institute
of Technology, Stockholm. His visit is sponsored by the Nobel Museum,
Volvo Cars and Volvo Commercial.
