Q-V-Q
Issue:
Topic 1: forgot. Something about leaders....
Topic 2: "Anyone can make things bigger and more complex. What requires real effort and courage is to move in the opposite direction—inother words, to make things as simple as possible."
Argument: Good-Taste Company and Discount Foods.
Verbal: I don't really remember much. I met very few JJ from September, although I've been reading them for a whole month( I don't just depend on it, I put lots of effort on other materials too). I guess I'm just not one of those lucky people. However, the verbal section was really not difficult, I actually felt pretty good after I finished it. But the score was really not what I was expected. I don't really get it. I should get a higher score than that, jeez....
Math:
Given a sequence a1, a2........ an. If a1 = 25 &in the sequence if every number is '-2' times the preceding number, then
Col A: a100
Col B: -10,000
Given that, if a person has 5 pair of socks ofdifferent colors and if 2 are chosen at random then what is the probabilitythat both of them are of same color?
If LCM of x and y is 24 and LCM of z and w is 30, thenwhat is the LCM of all x, y, z & w?
If aK = 1/K - 1/K+1 find a1+a2+........a100? 100/101
The first Q was easy, but the second one was much more difficult. I guess the first one counted.
I took GRE in May this year once and this is the second time of the year. The total score of the second test is 90 higher than the first one. But still I haven't get the score I want in Verbal section. I'm thinking of taking it again next month, because I still got some time. I don't think a 600 up verbal is too much to ask based on where I stand, for some reason it is difficult to get it.
