Open RA Positions in Bioinformatics

Openings for research assistant positions are available for Ph.D.students in the area of bioinformatics and computational biology starting in Fall 2009 in the University of Miami, Florida, USA. Students in computer science, statistics, electrical or biomedical engineering are encouraged to apply. A background in biology is not required (if one has, it's certainly a plus), but students should have a strong interest in learning biology and a strong motivation to pursue excellent research. Each RA will be provided with a competitive yearly stipend, tuition waiver and medical benefits.
