mba不行吧，做quant 一定要很高的数学和编程呀，trader也是。不过有时间，要是真想往上升的话，那个phd in finance其实也挺重要的，mba in finance也重要。现在好多学校也offer mba/mfe joint的。 不过楼主不是本科生么，mba不太适合吧~~~

我微积分1-4 （我们学校微积分分4级），线性代数1-2， 6门课4个a+2个a，我心都有些缠呢。

其实FE有排名，但是很多学校都不承认是真的，因为其实真的是评价一个FE的好坏看他们毕业生工作的replacement。一般top program 的录取率在11%-15%之间。

这里是我认为的top 10的MFE Program（按照字母顺序排列）。

MFE的program 一般都是非常demanding的~~非常非常多的牛人在里面。本科毕业就能进去的已经很不容易了。

随便给你聚个例子， Steve Townsend 是 Baruch College 在2007年入学的一个MFE的学生。当时他的身份是瑞士信贷Fixed Income Derivatives Products group的副总裁。他修这个课的意图是在提高自己。。。可想而知了。

随便再给你几个中国学生的例子。（都是2007的）

Lin (Claudia) Li graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor in Economics from Peking University, China where she was honored as Best Graduate Student and a recipient of WuSi first class scholarship. Claudia has published a nano-technology paper on Applied Physics Letters. She later received a Master of Science in Physics from Drexel University where her biophysics research involved computational and statistical methods such as Markov process, Langevin approach.

Feixiang Xie received his Ph.D. in Physics from Peking University, China where he was a lecturer, teaching various courses to undergraduates and conducting research on super-conducting electronics. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physics, minor in Electrical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, China. He worked as engineer at Shanghai Automation Instruments, Co, China where he helped developing industrial thermometers.

Richard Zhang received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, China and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering with concentration on Numerical Control from Peiking University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China. He interned with Research Institute Of Highway Ministry of Communications where he developed a data processing interface for a computer aided design system. Richard also worked as a software developer first at Symantec and later at Kai Da Computer Technology.

Yavuz Varoglu received a PhD in electrical engineering from Northeastern University. He graduated with a Master of Science in computer engineering from University of Massachusetts Amherst where he also received a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering with a minor in mathematics and is a member of Tau Beta Pi. Yavuz has worked as a software engineer and has more than ten years experience in design, implement and support commercial systems.

其实，我想学习金融工程，主要是因为我喜欢投资银行，很想投行工作。但我又听说听，金融工程并不对投行的口，那么，什么专业更对投行的口哩？也就是说，我在大学学习什么专业，更容易被投行认可哩 ...

i have to say u have little chance to get top 20 MFE in USA, most of people who can get entrance to such programs almost have Math PHD in US universities or excellent working experience like i-bank IT or operations. It is also truth that they only give offer to top 200 university international students with excellent academic record and internship, no offend, u of macau obviously is not. U can check the profile from UCLA, UC Berkeley, cornell, cmu, columbia, chicago and NYU, the international candidates all from top universities in china like Peking, Tsinghua, HKUST, HKU, Fudan, ustc with excellent programming skill and quantitve skill, the companies they have been interned or worked are all big names like morgan stanley, goldman, merri, citi,ubs, bnp, sg, ibm , microsoft and so on. So try a msc program in HK or UK is more meanful for u, and the way to get into ibank is not that close to u.

anyways, worth a try though. 把自己GPA弄的狂高。狂修数学的课程，然后编程的课程。参加大大小小的比赛。你还有机会，毕竟还没毕业，还能调整。
