对项目的疑问可能就此而至，但是本届学校给CM学生的录取却让我们满脑袋疑问……哎
我把信贴着吧 难道学校意思是让我们拿语言学校I20？
Annenberg Conditional Admission & USC Language Academy


The requirements for intensive English study are as follows:


Annenberg Communication Management students who are admitted conditionally for fall 2009 with a USC Language Academy Requirement will be required to attend the Academy beginning in summer B session, June 30th 2009 for a minimum of 6 weeks.  Depending on the student’s proficiency level, he/she will be required to complete 6-20 weeks of intensive English prior to and concurrent with the MCM program.


Immediately upon receiving conditional admission, students should apply directly to the USC Language Academy by downloading the application www.usc.edu/langacad and faxing it to our offices per the instructions on the website. The USC Language Academy will produce the 1-20 and send it out to students within 5 business days.


Summer B session 2009 dates are June 30th-Aug 7, 2009.


Upon arrival, the student will take the Language Academy’s placement test to determine which level is most appropriate for the student. The student will be placed in the appropriate level in Oral Skills, and Applied Grammar, however all Annenberg Communication Management students  will be placed in the custom CM Reading and Writing course designed especially for Annenberg CMGT students. Students are required by Annenberg to maintain a minimum 3.0/B GPA.


Students who have not yet attained level 6 proficiency level after summer B session will continue the intensive English program in the fall and be eligible to take 1-2 credit courses (up to 8 hours) at Annenberg in the Communications Management Program concurrently.  


Fall 2009 dates are Sept. 8th-December 11th, 2009


Again, students are required by Annenberg to maintain a minimum 3.0/B GPA in USC Language Academy courses.  Progress reports will be made to appropriate Annenberg faculty/administration.

刚好我刚刚跟一个英国同学聊天，他就是学这个方向的。说明一下entertainment management这不是一个专业，只是我们comm. management下面的一个方向。其实还是比较偏向于媒体管理的，不是偏向于电视节目制作。如果你想学电视制作的话最好是申请电影学院的producer专业。如果你选择申请我们专业再选这个方向的话，还是要学一些管理的core course的，不能单纯学producer，不过你也可以根据自己的意愿选电影学院的课。我那个同学就是以后想当producer，他下个学期选了电影学院的课。关于就业问题请看一楼的介绍。

看了lz的介绍，获益匪浅，我最担心的现在也是毕业后的就业问题，因为我本身现在已经在四大会计师事务所工作了，可能外人看起来很不错了，可是这不是我喜欢的，我很想进入Entertainment management 这类行业工作，所以我考虑去美国读个传播硕士。

我想请教lz一下，我对找工作和lz意见一样主要看能力，但是主要还是想问签证问题，听说那里这个行业很多公司不提供h1b签证，所以很难留下工作吗？

在录取通知上有一句话是：If your ultimate academic objective is to attain a doctorate degree in communication, the master's of communication management is not an option that you should pursue.想请问下学姐，如果这个专业学出来的话，工作两年再申请传播学博士是不是很难？

谢谢lz这么细心回答问题，我也是想要2010FALL申请传播类的专业，但是对于具体专业的选择还有点迷茫，想问一下comm management 是不是申请的人更多本身是管理类或是商科专业的背景，纯文科的是不是不太适合申请?Thanks

虽然项目设置很好 我还是劝大家申的时候慎重了。
我是09FALL的新生 今年这个专业对T要求高得吓人（114＋）
不到就要读语言 非常非常贵，一定夏季要考到LEVEL 6(满分) 和GPA3。95以上，秋季语言才能免！语言课的设置感觉还在不停的改…………都现在了没有准信 给VISA之类都造成很大的麻烦！

而且语言课还不能WAIVE。

我不知道他们是一时兴起还是准备把这语言项目长久搞下去 如果是以后都像我们这一届， 除非对它有执念 否则不要申请 可以考虑ANNENBERG的其它项目
