The speaker asserts that how children are socialized today determines the destiny of society and we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society. However, based on the actual observation of life, I cannot quite agree with the writer for the following reasons.

It should be admitted that there is no denying that it is the socialization of children, which brings children self-living ability, basic knowledge and technology that prepares the foundation of their perspectives of value and moral. For instance, the braveness, collaboration, honest and the eagerness of trying to overcome presented by children themselves when they are playing games does do good to their adopting of socialization and then their real social lives. Another example comes to the small society: kindergarten, where children learn how to get along with different cultures and various characters.
So it is obvious to take into mind that we cannot emphasize the importance of children's socialization too much, for it indeed contributes to children themselves and the society ahead of them.

However, the better future of society can never depends on socialization of children simply and there has to be other factors. An example supportive is that an eximious leader or a miserable cabinet can both change the destiny of society. It must be the best time, when Roosevelt, known as the president who is not well socially developed with his odd character because of growing up as an disabled boy, made the 'New Deal' to save the whole America from the huge economic crisis. And it must be the darkest hours when Hitler, who made Germany, once one of the most powerful countries in a word, into a sin of the human history, forced his army invade across the border of Poland. Looking back upon the long road that human have walked, we should bring home to ourselves that destiny of society does not just need children's socialization.

Moreover, it is true that we human have actually already acquired various approaches and solutions, which would be beneficial to socialization of children. Otherwise, how does our such gorgeous social achievements come into the world? Nowadays, we rise or fall as one earth, as one people; we resist the temptation to fall back on the same partisanship and pettiness; we do so with a measure of humility and the determination to heal the divides that have back our progress. We make our social beacon burns bright, not just because of the scale of our wealth or our arms but come out from the socialization: democracy, liberty, opportunity and unyielding hope. In a short, our children had start their helping bring about a better society since about fifty years ago, so it seems ridiculous that we have not yet learned to how to raise them to help.

In conclusion, I hope it has been shown that we should believe ourselves in raising up children to help bring about a better society and we should do our utmost to let children become socialized, though that would not be the only factor determining our destiny of society but one of the very important ones.
