On condition that I could travel back in time to meet a famous person in history, I,  without hesitation, will choose the most eminent leader , Mao Zedong, who is the first Chairman of China.And it is his versatility that allures me so significantly.

In the first place, Mao Zedong , as is known to us all, is one of the most preeminent strategists in Chinese history. He made a vast amount of contributions to Chinese people. A well-known case in point is that he played a vital role in the the Long March and eventually led the Red Army to the destination successfully. After that, he became the primary leader of the army. And by his wisdom, calmness, and military talent, Chinese people won a multitude of battles. For instance, a famous one is that Mao Zedong led the Red Army to cross Chishui River four times ,appearing and disappearing mysteriously, and to cross Jinsha River strategically with the enemy's surprise by fighting over Luding Bridge. As a result of his wise guidences, Chinese people replused the Japanese army, and the PRC was established.

Besides his military attitpude, he is also a household poet and litterateur. He wrote a large number of picturesque poetries and famous military works. A poetry acquainted by almost everyone in China depicts a gorgeous scene after snowing in north China. It describes beautiful frozen rivers and mountains,and at the last of the peotry it shows Mao Zedong’s great ambition as a brilliant leader. What is more, the military works written by him founded a new theory for strategics,which is named The Thoery of Mao Zedong. And his thinking in fighting powful enemy with minority and the strategies and tactics in war make a dramatical impact on the people who are struggling for their independence and freedom..

From what has been mentioned above, there is no denying that Mao Zedong is the one of greatest leader in China. So much do I admire him that I am eager to meet him, talk with him about his magnificent triumphs in rebeling enemies, learn his experiences in life , and even learn his merits. And all of them can benefit me deeply.And now you may agree with me that given the chance to go back in time, I will prefer to meet Mao Zedong.
