Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

When grow up, people should take education to improve their qualities in order to find good jobs with satisfied salaries, as well as high-level livings. It is unavoidable that they will work hard to deal with the assignments from their teachers and to get award with perfect performance of homework. Some people hold the opinion that it is necessary for teachers to arrange homework to students every day, while others maintain the contrary viewpoints. From personal perspective, it is indispensable for students to take daily assignments during the process of their education.

To begin with, homework can make students put their hearts and major energy on study. As we know, when students, especially young ones like to play with others to relax themselves and spend less time in study, which can cause negative influences on their studies. For instance, after class, I often play PC game with my roommates or play basketball. It is correct for us to spend some time to have a rest, but most of time, these games take all of us spare time. If we have homework, we have to reduce our playing time and spend time to achieve them. Therefore assignment can let students spend more time on studies, which is beneficial to their educations.

Moreover, assignment can play a role of examination for students. Some times when students finish their classes, from doing their homework, they can check that whether they have grasped the knowledge in classes or textbooks. For instance, our mathematic teachers often send us a lot of homework to do after classes to strengthen our understanding of knowledge in classes. When we confront difficulty and hard questions and can not solve these problems by ourselves, we know that we have not grasped the knowledge. Hereby, through do homework, students can check that whether they have understood and got the knowledge from their teachers or textbooks.

Finally, homework also can be a method for teachers to know the circumstance of their students. From the feedback of assignment, teachers can get the information that which parts of knowledge have been accepted by students and which parts they have to teach again. Here, I can take our mathematic teacher as one example. From the situation of homework, he knows that whether the students have held the knowledge, and by solving the questions we face during doing homework, he strengthens and add our understanding of knowledge.

In summary, assignment have many advantages such as let students spend more time on study, role of examination for students to check their knowledge and method for teachers to get feedback from students. Therefore, I agree with that daily homework is necessary for students
